From the very beginning, he really took the time to understand what I was looking for and was able to visualise the type of property that would be right for me and my family.<br><br>What really stood out was that Will didn’t make me feel like he was only focused on the seller. He genuinely cared about me as a buyer too, listened to what was important to me, and went above and beyond to help.<br><br>He’s incredibly friendly, personable and approachable, and dealing with him has been such a refreshing experience. I honestly wish every estate agent was like Will!<br><br>Thank you for making what can be such a stressful process feel so much more positive. You’re a credit to the profession! 6th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)My experience with Franklyn James was exhausting and stressful. After months of chasing them to renew my tenancy, the agency demanded unagreed, backdated charges. When I challenged these demands, I was served a Section 21 notice and forced to relocate between Christmas and year-end.<br><br>Due to their chaotic communication, the contract under which they demanded money turned out to be completely invalid, forcing them to refund me the difference. In an absurd twist, they simultaneously listed the property online for the exact same rent I had already agreed to pay. As a result of their incompetence, they both lost out on my rent increase for several months and failed to receive the illegitimate backdated sums they were claiming.<br><br>I escalated the case to The Property Ombudsman (TPO), and the TPO identified significant service shortcomings - including severe delays and poor handling of the renewal - concluding the agency fell below expected standards and awarding me financial compensation.<br><br>Upon moving out, the agency attempted to withhold a large portion of my deposit, but these unreasonable deductions were fully rejected by the Deposit Protection Scheme - highlighting their poor conduct right up to the very end.<br><br>Compensation doesn't undo the severe disruption and stress I went through; I am sharing this so others are aware: I strongly advise prospective tenants to avoid Franklyn James.

13th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)Based on our experience ,we would highly recommend Petty Son and Prestwich.<br>Catherine who came round to value our house was friendly and professional .Her calm approach helped us initiate the process of selling.<br>Fay who supervised the viewing day took on board all the important details of the house that needed to be passed to potential buyers and ensured the day resulted in many offers.<br>Elaine and Janine ensured that the sale progressed keeping us updated and responding quickly to our questions.<br>Overall we found that the whole process went very smoothly and was relatively stress free.<br>Thank you to the whole team who helped us from start to finish,such that we sold our house a few days after it went on the market.

Our agent, Dom, was fantastic, always reachable, super friendly, and quick to clear up any questions we had along the way. Couldn't recommend them enough!
2nd Sep 2026 (18 days ago)I just completed the process of moving flats with Hunters and I'm really pleased with how they dealt with it and supported us throughout. Sam and Gokhan were very helpful initially with viewings and offer-related questions, and then Amber took us through the referencing, income checks and contract completion seamlessly. Amber was great at solving minor hiccups we had with referencing and extremely quick at responding to and acting on our concerns. 21st Mar 2025 (1 year ago)I couldn't recommend Stow brothers enough when selling your property. They make it so straight forward and very easy. We were looked after by the fabulous Darcie Stein, she went above and beyond to make sure everything went well and was always on the phone with updates and kept us informed every step of the way. From listing our house to completion it all went so smoothly, if you want to sell your house get in contact with Darcie she was our lucky charm!!

He was always available and free for a chat. Getting in touch with him and getting information about the whole process was very easy and he helped massively in an otherwise very stressful process. I feel so lucky to have worked with him as you don't meet often such professional and committed people.<br>Thank you Foxtons for helping us buy this beautiful house!!

2nd Jul 2026 (11 weeks ago)I could not be happier with Johns & Co, and in particular Anthony Norton and Rhiannon Howard! They made what can often be a very stressful process so much easier. They were incredibly responsive throughout, even while on annual leave, and consistently went above and beyond to keep things moving. It felt like they were doing the job of my solicitor as well!<br>Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to meet Rhiannon in person when I collected the keys to my flat, as she was in a meeting, but she truly deserves special recognition for all of her hard work and support.<br>As a first-time buyer, I found the whole process incredibly stressful and frustrating at times, but Anthony and Rhiannon were there every step of the way, providing reassurance and chasing things whenever needed.<br>I'm now officially four weeks into my new home, and I couldn't be more grateful. A huge thank you to everyone at Johns & Co, especially Anthony and Rhiannon. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a property.

11th Sep 2026 (9 days ago)Exceptional Service from Highcastle Estates – Especially Nabeel, Yuri & Zaid.<br><br>Selling our home has been one of the most stressful experiences of our lives. With a young family, we never anticipated that a relatively short chain would turn into an exhausting nine-month ordeal. We had two buyers pull out, and just when we thought things couldn’t get worse, our final buyer played endless games, leaving us feeling completely drained right up until exchange.<br><br>Through it all, Nabeel remained an absolute rock—professional, calm, and, most importantly, communicative. He kept us updated at every stage, going above and beyond to ensure everything moved forward. There were times when he even took it upon himself to speak with our onward purchase vendors—something he didn’t have to do, but he genuinely cared about getting the deal over the line for us. Even on his days off, he would still take our calls, always providing a personable and reassuring service. By the end of the process, he genuinely felt more like a friend than just our estate agent.<br><br>I must also mention that we were not on a sole agency agreement. We had another very well-known estate agent in the area marketing our property alongside Highcastle Estates, and I can confidently say there was no comparison. Highcastle Estates were leagues ahead in terms of communication, dedication, and results.<br><br>The past nine months have been a gruelling process, but I cannot imagine going through it with anyone else. Trust the Google reviews—go with Highcastle Estates. You will not regret it!

Nick was available to speak anytime, provided excellent and honest feedback after every viewing and made you feel they had your best interest at heart. Once an offer was made and accepted, the purchase process was handled very efficiently and I was kept updated at every step. Overall, a refreshingly satisfactory experience.

They handled the letting of my property professionally from start to finish, and everything was sorted incredibly quickly.<br>Any issues that came up were resolved promptly, and the team were always easy to reach – they even worked on their days off to keep things moving.
