I had many requests which they’ve professionally coordinated with the landlord, and efficiently fulfilled. Full marks for Megan, Ryan and Scott!!! As a current tenant, I’m happy that they are managing the flat well now with prompt assistance??????????????????

24th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)Sasan moves fast and knows how to find the deals you want. He’s proactive, resourceful, and finds a way to get things done. That pace can be a lot for some people, but it’s effective—especially under pressure. My only recommendation would be to focus less on trivial details and more on the bigger picture. Long-term relationships matter—LTV is more valuable than just closing the next deal. Overall, a strong operator I’d recommend.

Would wholeheartedly recommend leaning on their experience in North London - thanks to the whole team involved and I have no doubt we will remain in touch over the years ahead.

11th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)Mapesbury Estate Agents were quite short and inconsistent with their communication and behaviour towards us from the very beginning. They ignored our complaints or made half hearted attempts to placate us. This even resulted in having our property stolen. They were of little to no assistant in contacting our local council with regards to our council tax during our tenancy as we needed some guidance (this was our first experience with council tax, being students renting with a guarantor) and were even an obstacle to getting our final bill after we moved out as they outright refused to carry out tasks that the council required of them, citing them as ‘illegal’. Personally, I don’t think Brent council goes around sending illegal requests in writing. This went on for 8 months. After we eventually settled with the council and came back for our deposit which I’m sure they thought we’d never see, they claimed the landlord suddenly had personal issues and kept missing deadlines for payments or updates they set for themselves. We eventually had to involved solicitors and are currently taking legal action.
16th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Had an amazing afternoon tea experience. It is very expensive, but worth it if you are on a vacation or special trip! You get refills of all sandwiches/scones/pastries included in the price. I asked for extra scones to take home with me to my hotel for breakfast the next morning (they were the best scones I’ve ever had with delicious clotted cream and jam) and they happily did so in a beautiful packaged box - at no extra charge. The food and service are top notch

From start to finish, they were professional, proactive, and highly knowledgeable about the market and the area. Richard gave clear guidance on pricing and communication was consistent and reassuring throughout the process—I was always kept up to date, and any questions I had were answered quickly. Hausman and Holmes were recommended to me and I’m glad they were, what stood out to me was how they managed the entire process with a calm confidence during and after completion. As I am grateful Hausman and Holmes were recommended to me, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richard Dangoor to anyone looking to buy or sell their property. A genuinely reliable and good service.

11th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)I’m not sure what to make of this, but it was the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had of being shown around a flat. I was apprehensive about using an unheard of estate agent as I’ve always stuck to well known ones. All seemed good at first when speaking to Leanna who made me feel at ease with her chirpy regional dialect, but then the viewing.. Well, Leanna showed up on time and we went inside. The tenants were out and the property was exactly as it looked on the website, so no complaints there, but then she started helping herself to biscuits, saying “I won’t tell if you don’t”. It didn’t stop there.. she opened the fridge and started putting items in a plastic carrier bag. Not even anything of value - it was literally butter and eggs. I would have given 2.5 stars if I could, but as it was either 2 or 3 I opted for 2. It wasn’t a mediocre experience, and credit where it’s due for the property being nice, it was just incredibly odd. Needless to say I didn’t put in an offer.

Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!

7th Apr 2026 (23 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with OpenHomes, particularly with Pratik, who was one of the least helpful agents I have dealt with. I reported serious issues with my property in October, including an unstable toilet, unsafe bathroom flooring, and lack of proper hot water. Despite these being essential facilities, there was no urgency in addressing them. Communication was poor throughout. I repeatedly followed up and agreed to multiple proposed dates for repairs, but these were delayed or cancelled with no clear updates. At one point, I had to go months without being able to properly use the toilet flush and had to rely on manual alternatives. Even when additional issues like damp and mould developed, the response remained slow and uncoordinated. Requests for written confirmation or reasonable support were also not handled properly. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and dismissive of tenant concerns, especially given the seriousness of the issues. I would strongly advise others to carefully consider before renting through this agency. They don’t care about tenants.

It was long & tedious, to say the least, but the team always kept us going, even when we felt that everything was in danger of falling apart. Special shout out to Elliot, for all his much-appreciated updates; these genuinely kept us afloat for months on end. The congratulatory hamper we received from the company upon completion, was the absolute icing on the cake!
