But what made it for me was the level of communication. Always proactive, frequent, and solution-oriented - he helped us coordinate with both sides solicitors, and made what can be a stressful process feel under control. Would not hesitate to work with him again.

11th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)What can I say, I had what I thought was genuinely a unsellable property, with what seemed like a unlimited amount of hoops to jump through, but finally, when other estate agents failed, Johnson and jones got my sale over the line, although the sale itself was turbulent (due to no fault of J&J just the nature of the property) the service I received from the team at J&J was unmatched to my previous estate agent, the fact the director Tracy had kept close contact with me directly throughout the sale, updating me promptly whenever required, really made all the difference compared to other agents.<br><br>If you have a property to sell then look no further.<br><br>Massive thanks to all the team at Johnson & Jones.
9th Sep 2026 (9 days ago)Avoid them, rude and unethical practices<br><br>Avoid renting here at all costs. Our move-out and tenancy experience with this agency, and specifically our property manager Christina, was defined by rude correspondence, intimidation tactics, and highly unethical financial practices.<br><br>Despite paying our rent in full, they attempted to double-charge us over at checkout. Worse, they tried to unlawfully retain a huge portion of our deposit using completely fabricated charges. They billed us a huge "redecoration fee" for standard wear-and-tear and attempted to charge us for pre-existing issues—including carpet stains, curtains and sink scratches—that were all clearly documented on our move-in inventory. Christina even deliberately went back on verbal agreements she made on-site regarding these charges on painting. She even tried to blame us for pre-existing moth infestation on carpets and other issues during our stay which was documented on our checkin report.<br><br>Fortunately, we kept meticulous records and took them to the official Tenancy Deposit Scheme dispute service, where we won our dispute and forced the return of a major portion of our deposit. Joe showed me around some properties and assisted me in all the in's and out's of looking to buy a property. He is such a warm, friendly and helpful guy, and made things so easy for me, always going above and beyond to answer any of my questions and made me feel totally at ease and looked after during the whole process. Really impressed! Thank you so much! ??????

He kept us updated throughout and was really patient when things got a bit difficult. We really appreciate all his hard work and would happily recommend him to anyone selling their home.

They have always been very helpful, supporting in finding the right tenants, managing all maintenance requirements and making the whole process run smoothly. The team get to know their clients well, bringing a personal touch to all interactions. I would highly recommend them.

I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

It can be a stressful experience, but Sarah was supportive, approachable, realistic and motivating throughout the process. I felt I could really trust Sarah - she was incredibly good at communicating, available and responsive, even in the evenings when everyone else was closed and no longer responding! This made a massive difference. I could tell that Sarah respected and cared for the sellers of the house she was buying, and she juggled each of our different needs with sensitivity and integrity. A total game changer in terms of buying a house. Definitely a bespoke experience and yet affordable.

We’ve had a few difficult experiences with other managing agents in the past so are delighted with the service we have received.<br><br>They are professional, responsive and, most importantly, they actually listen to their tenants and make you feel looked after. Whenever we’ve had something that needs addressing, they’ve been helpful, approachable and quick to resolve.<br><br>It’s such a relief to have a managing agent who genuinely cares about meeting their tenants’ needs and making the whole renting experience as straightforward and stress-free as possible.<br><br>By far the best managing agent we’ve rented through, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a property to rent!
