5th Jun 2026 (12 days ago)?I am writing this to warn other renters about how Carousel Estate Agents treated me. ?In November 2025, they gave me a S21 notice and told me in writing that I had to leave because the landlords were selling the property (2nd occurance in a 2 year tenancy). I believed them, went through the massive stress of moving out right before Christmas after spinal surgery in July too. ?I have just checked the property websites and found out they lied. They put the flat up for sale for just a few weeks, took it down, and have now put it straight back up for rent at a much higher price—the exact higher price I had previously turned down. They used a fake "sale" just to kick me out and get more rent. ?On top of that, they took money out of my deposit by telling the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) that they had to pay to replace my curtains and remove a bathroom shelf and mirror. But in their new online rental pictures, my exact curtains, shelf, and mirror are still there. They are using my things to advertise the flat, meaning they charged me for work they never actually did. ?I have officially reported Carousel to The Property Ombudsman, Gateshead Trading Standards, and Action Fraud. ?If Carousel has done this to you—either by giving you a fake "selling" eviction or taking money from your deposit for repairs they didn't do—please contact Gateshead Trading Standards or Citizens Advice right away so we can stop them doing it to others.

23rd Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)I was lied. I was not properly informed. I was harassed by Teri Dunning’s emails telling me and pushing me to sell and leave my house with my stuff in time when I was not able to do so! I was explaining this many times to her but she knew better. Complete fail with dealing with disable people who can’t do things fast and in such a stress which can have very serious consequences on health and even life. Very disappointing process Teri Dunning may be nice to others but she was not nice to me. That’s my opinion and I won’t change it because more people can find themselves in my place in the future. She was angry at me, she was pushing me into doing what she wanted me to do no matter what it ment to my health! Then she got revenge on me with no respect when my decision was to defend myself and my health! Immature behavior. I’ve got answer from Pattinson and they are not so nice like this public answer every person can see under my opinion. Pattinson don’t care about people neither for their agent’s behavior only for Pattinson’s business.

Nadine is the property manager for my building and she is always fantastic, keeps in touch with anything we need to know, is informative friendly and professional. I have no concerns if I ever need to email her. She is a true credit to Bowson.
