Andreas and Jakub did a great job in letting my flat again and found me some great tenants.<br>I’ve been using them for the last few years and the process is seamless. They are super responsive, professional and I always get a reliable service which is much appreciated. I would strongly recommend having Jakub or Andreas as your letting agent!
8th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)Heathgate are the management agents of our block.<br>Shabz is the manager for the block and I do genuinely feel he cares for the residents.<br>No management agent is perfect but after having 3 in as many years I can say that Heathgate are responsive, approachable (very rare for managing agents) and sensible. Shabz sorted an issue for our home that had been ongoing for over a year and caused us a great deal of stress and I am very grateful for this.

She was always fully informed about competing properties on the market, recent sales and achieved values, providing invaluable insight throughout our search.<br><br>Sonia is proactive, professional and a genuine pleasure to deal with. We cannot recommend her highly enough.
7th Oct 2026 (25 days ago)**UPDATE following Mile Estates’ response:**<br><br>Their response rather proves my point.<br><br>Apparently 16 days was “far too short” for me to assess their service, but 15 days was enough for Mile Estates to decide there was a “fundamental misalignment” because I kept asking them to correct listing errors and explain what they were actually doing.<br><br>I had to chase mistakes, ask for the tailored marketing strategy I was sold, and ask where the “active buyers” were that I had been told in writing were already looking for a property like mine at my price point.<br><br>So: over-promise to win the instruction, fail to deliver, then label the client “too involved” for asking where the promised service and buyers are.<br><br>I even gave Mile Estates the chance to reset; instead I got a dismissive response and more talk of £480,000 based on an unrelated Ladbroke Grove property. Ending the agreement was no favour, I was ending it anyway.<br><br>This was never about expecting a sale in 16 days. It was about expecting an estate agent to provide the service it sold. Everything above is documented in writing.<br><br>My original review stands.<br>——————<br>Original Review:<br><br>Mile Estates sold me a completely different service from the one they actually delivered.<br><br>I am fully aware this is a difficult market. That is exactly why I instructed an agent who claimed to offer tailored strategy, strong marketing and sold me on having actual active buyers for my type of property. I was given a £535k valuation and told they had buyers who matched the flat.<br><br>In reality, I handed them virtually everything: professional photography, floorplan and marketing material already done. Despite that, the listing still went live with mistakes, incorrect filters and poor attention to detail, and I had to spend my own time checking and correcting work that should never have needed correcting.<br><br>When I then asked perfectly reasonable questions about the tailored strategy I had supposedly bought into- who was being targeted, what outreach was happening, what buyer feedback had come back, what the data actually showed- suddenly my “level of involvement” was apparently not the right fit.<br><br>That was extraordinary, because the things I was asking for were exactly the things they promote themselves as doing.<br><br>There was almost no interest in creative marketing, social media, proactive outreach, buyer targeting or anything beyond portal performance. The conversation quickly became: Rightmove and Zoopla views are not converting after 9 days, therefore the price must be wrong.<br><br>After barely any time on the market, the answer was already a significant reduction, with a suggestion that the property was really closer to £480k, based in part on a materially different block out in Ladbroke grove, not remotely comparable in product, presentation or buyer profile.<br><br>That is the wider issue I now have with too many local agents. The market is already difficult enough. Sellers do not need agents making it worse by only relying on portals, doing minimal proactive work and then reaching immediately for price reductions because that is the easiest route to getting a deal done.<br><br>Of course a heavily discounted property will attract bargain hunters. That does not mean it has been marketed well or sold properly.<br><br>And every unnecessarily low sale becomes the next comparable, which then gets used to pressure the next seller lower. That is how entire buildings and eventually whole parts of Kensal Rise get dragged down.<br><br>If you are selling a very high-value property, perhaps the experience is different. But for ordinary sellers below that level, I would expect far more strategy, care and actual work than I received here. It also took over 1 month and 3 follow ups to get anyone to get back to me about an initial conversation to sell my home. I should have known then that this was not an agency that was going to give my sale the level of attention, strategy or urgency it needed.
14th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

4th Oct 2026 (28 days ago)LOOK ELSEWHERE!!<br><br>One star, and only because zero isn't an option.<br><br>I rented through the West Hampstead branch for a year.<br>For the entire tenancy I repeatedly asked for letterbox keys and never received them. The property manager assigned to my flat changed several times over the year, so there was never anyone accountable and emails routinely went unanswered for weeks.<br><br>Checkout was worse. They proposed nearly £1400 in deposit deductions, including charges for pre-existing issues plainly visible in their own check-in report (a missing radiator cap documented as missing before I even moved in), £300 to clear a few small leftover items, and a £360 cleaning charge despite the full photographic record of the clean I provided. Every figure was a round number with no invoice attached.<br><br>The law puts the burden of proof for deposit deductions on the agent. This felt like a systematic attempt to monetise the deposit instead. Prospective tenants should look elsewhere.

We were provided with information about our property in advance of marketing that other estate agents did not provide and they did not overvalue our property to raise unrealistic expectations. Our sale in the end was very complex, but March in particular who supported us up to final sale completion, was amazing and did her best to support us during some very challenging times. Other members of the team were also supportive, as and when needed.

We recently sold our property in Golders Green through them and were really pleased with the service we received from start to finish.<br><br>Richard was incredibly helpful throughout the process and, when we ran into an unexpected complication during the sale, he was always on hand to offer advice, get involved where needed and used his knowledge and local connections to help move things along. His experience of the local market really showed and it was reassuring to have him involved throughout the sale.<br><br>We wouldn’t hesitate to use Houseman & Holmes again and would happily recommend Richard and the team to friends and family. Of course, the market was a factor, but the advice increasingly seemed to be simply to reduce the price. We eventually decided it was time for a change.<br><br>From our first conversations, Goldschmidt felt completely different. There was no hard sell, just honest, considered advice and a level of knowledge and professionalism that genuinely stood out. I’ll admit I was slightly sceptical at first, but the difference quickly became apparent: their understanding of the local area and market, the way they approach viewings and prospective buyers, their sales strategy and, importantly, their communication throughout the process were all on another level.<br><br>They ultimately looked after both our sale and our onward purchase, and I really couldn’t fault the experience. Richard leads a fantastic team and everyone has been exceptional; Anthony, Daniel and Raphael all looked after us impeccably from start to finish.<br><br>Having dealt with a number of estate agents over the years, I can honestly say Goldschmidt stands out. Professional, knowledgeable, straightforward and genuinely good people to deal with.<br><br>I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to sell or buy in the area.

It can be a stressful experience, but Sarah was supportive, approachable, realistic and motivating throughout the process. I felt I could really trust Sarah - she was incredibly good at communicating, available and responsive, even in the evenings when everyone else was closed and no longer responding! This made a massive difference. I could tell that Sarah respected and cared for the sellers of the house she was buying, and she juggled each of our different needs with sensitivity and integrity. A total game changer in terms of buying a house. Definitely a bespoke experience and yet affordable.
