From the very beginning, he really took the time to understand what I was looking for and was able to visualise the type of property that would be right for me and my family.<br><br>What really stood out was that Will didn’t make me feel like he was only focused on the seller. He genuinely cared about me as a buyer too, listened to what was important to me, and went above and beyond to help.<br><br>He’s incredibly friendly, personable and approachable, and dealing with him has been such a refreshing experience. Selling a house can be incredibly stressful, but Charlotte went so far above and beyond for myself and my family that I genuinely felt like she cared about us, not just about selling a property.<br><br>We found a house we really wanted, which meant we needed to get our own property on the market as quickly as possible. Charlotte absolutely delivered. She was working at 11pm and was back in at 6am, making sure everything was sorted so that our property could be ready to go on the market the very next day. That level of commitment and work ethic is exceptional.<br><br>Charlotte works incredibly hard and is a true asset to Beresfords. What also really stood out was how highly she spoke of her team and having dealt with them, I can completely understand why.<br><br>Josh in particular was fantastic. He worked incredibly hard, and it was clear to see how well Charlotte and Josh work together as a team. The other members of staff were also brilliant, keeping us in constant communication, providing feedback promptly and making sure we always knew what was happening. The whole team worked together brilliantly.<br><br>I actually chose Beresfords because of Charlotte. She spoke so highly of Beresfords and her team, and it was genuinely refreshing to hear someone speak with that much pride and belief in the company they work for. Charlie was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. Every step was handled smoothly — from the first viewing, to negotiations, to the final handover — and I always felt fully informed and confident in the decisions I was making.What stood out most was Charlie’s communication and reliability. He was always available to answer questions, kept me updated without me ever having to chase, and made what can be a stressful journey feel straightforward and well?managed. His attention to detail and genuine care for his clients really shows.I’m extremely happy with my new home, and I’m grateful for the effort Charlie put in to make the purchase seamless. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and efficient estate agent.
27th Aug 2026 (21 days ago)They started so well. Had a fantastic first meet. Gave me a valuation above what I was expecting. I decided to go with them. When they turned up to take photos, again I was very impressed. The brochure was fantastic as was the listing. After that, it was downhill. I had to chase for the EPC and to actually pay them for it. I had to chase to get the board up outside. It’s still there now. I chased them after the first few weeks of being live. Spoke about the price. They said it was maybe too high. Funny as I had listed £10K below there valuation . So I dropped by £10K. After another month or so, I then again chased them for updates. Again they mentioned about dropping the price. I’m already £20K below their estimate. Well I was not impressed and decided to give notice. I did everything they asked. I had to chase that they had received as I had no confirmation. Very frustrating.

They were very good at arranging viewings for when they were convenient for us. They called us to change the marketing strategies when the house hadn't initially sold so we felt they knew what they were talking about to sell our house.

The team were phenomenal - Olivia and Ann-Marie in the Loughton office and Amanda as our sales progressor. We always felt like their priority and they were there to handle and communicate with us on any potential issues, resolving any concerns that we had. They were miracle workers when our buyer dropped out, securing us a new buyer within days! This meant that we were able to secure the house of our dreams! I highly recommend Durden and Hunt.

14th Sep 2026 (3 days ago)The agent wouldn't respond to me. No communication whatsoever I had to chase them on group chat l and I am asking for updates and everybody is ignoring me. After months of advertising I messaged them to take my property offline and again there was no response again but the property was taken offline. They are strange bunch of people.

He consistently went above and beyond to make sure we understood the process, answered all of our questions, and kept everything moving smoothly.<br><br>As first time buyers, my wife and I were understandably nervous about the whole process. After 2 failed processes with different estate agents, Tom Ashwood and co really helped us and allowed our husband and I to get our keys within 3 months!
