I had a few viewings today and last week with George. We just wanted to tell that he is such a nice person and a great letting agent. He went out of his way to show us some extra properties and his jokes are great :) Thank you, George

The worst customer service I’ve experienced as a rental tenant.
As a rental tenant in the Brixton area, the service myself and my housemates received from the Beresford Residential team has been awful. The fees (set up £350, renewal £300, tenant change £300, check out £240 etc.) are at the steeper end for the area, but would have been acceptable had our property manager made any effort at all to provide a positive customer service experience. Throughout the tenancy she has been rude, condescending and at times aggressive. On the few occasions we have reported problems via our property manager to the landlord we have not felt confident that communications we had asked to be made had been followed through with and strongly feel we have been misrepresented to the landlord. Day to day maintenance issues which should have been resolved quickly have taken weeks, and in the case of our deposit return, circa 3 months. An example – a large ornate mirror was left (not hung) from the landlord in one of the rooms. It was removed at the beginning of the tenancy by Beresford’s contractor, and on receipt of the check in report which listed the mirror, we went immediately back to Beresford to let them know it had been removed and ask them to amend the check in report. Beresford, at the time of check out, have hounded us about this mirror, insisting we pay £100 for it as they cannot locate it. After months of back and forth they have had to drop this – although still protesting against the written evidence provided. I hope they have reimbursed the landlord for the mirror, but I don’t have confidence that will have been the case. I will never rent or consider buying a property with Beresford Residential again, and I cannot stress enough how disappointed myself and my housemates have been with the service we received.
