28th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)We recently sold our flat in Greencroft Gardens, after over 25 years- this was with the support and advice from this wonderful estate agent- which combines excellent local knowledge with a personal touch. We are particularly indebted to Jeremy, who as part of this small family business was relentless in keeping us up to date, with encouraging remarks and professional advice. No other agent comes close to the friendly and efficient service. Brian and Mary
26th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Unprofessional hiring process. They will message you to apply, and then when you do, they will ultimately ghost you. Even boasting about "striving for a transparent and efficient selection process" when all they do is probably get as much info from you as possible (including a video introduction of yourself), then run away with the information they got.
29th Apr 2026 (5 days ago)Saj and the rest of his team are con artists, absolutely disrespectful, rude and dishonest. He lied about the amenities in the newly built apartment we were renting, costing us time and money to fix the issues. We could not work from home for 3 months bc we couldn’t have WiFi over the 2 floors of the apartment. They would come for inspection and walk around in their shoes talking to us like we are some peasants, patronising us with every little thing and harassing us via emails. When we moved out they kept our deposit for “cleaning services” despite the flat being cleaned by us and didn’t provide any original receipts but their own made up invoice costing us 2/3 of our deposit and gave us back the remaining of it a whole year later. Overall our losses came to about £3k for renting a 4 bedroom apartment for only 14 months from them. Just a disgrace and you can see they are lying in your face openly and do not feel any guilt. Everyone who we dealt with was either ignorant, lying or rude especially Nicky and Saj.
5th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)Amazingly bad service We rented a complete owned property for just over 2 years. In that time we had about 5 property managers. This should say all you need to know. Each one not knowing what had gone on before. Given the fact a week before we thought we were moving in we had to chase them to find out nothing had moved forward and they were waiting on us to send documentation (we were not told). Throughout the 2 years they were never really there to help you. After we have left they have tried to keep around 75% of our deposit which is absolutely insane. Missing furniture that never existed in the first place, the most expensive cleaning quote imaginable and £50 to remove a single chair. These are some of the excuses on the quote. Try and avoid complete properties when possible!!
16th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Had an amazing afternoon tea experience. It is very expensive, but worth it if you are on a vacation or special trip! You get refills of all sandwiches/scones/pastries included in the price. I asked for extra scones to take home with me to my hotel for breakfast the next morning (they were the best scones I’ve ever had with delicious clotted cream and jam) and they happily did so in a beautiful packaged box - at no extra charge. The food and service are top notch

Mark and Eli have been brilliant — their knowledge of the property market is second to none and advice has always been spot on. As a landlord you want people you can trust to look after your properties and these two do exactly that. Highly recommend. Thanks again F&C team!

From start to finish, the service was exceptional, and the sale of my flat was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine commitment. A special mention has to go to Nick, who truly went above and beyond at every stage of the process. He was proactive, responsive, and always willing to take the time to explain things clearly and keep me updated. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his dedication made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring.

6th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)So glad I didn’t end up renting with this company after my extremely poor experience and seeing these reviews online. Communication was terrible, arrived at the my pre-booked appointment after calling the office 4 times to get more information about the location. Was told to come back the next day to see two properties which were on for £300pcm more than the one I originally requested, both of which thy stated ‘we currently have multiple offers on both’. Overhyped and overrated, this is all that is wrong with the property market in London. Don’t waste your time.

From start to finish, they were professional, proactive, and highly knowledgeable about the market and the area. Richard gave clear guidance on pricing and communication was consistent and reassuring throughout the process—I was always kept up to date, and any questions I had were answered quickly. Hausman and Holmes were recommended to me and I’m glad they were, what stood out to me was how they managed the entire process with a calm confidence during and after completion. As I am grateful Hausman and Holmes were recommended to me, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richard Dangoor to anyone looking to buy or sell their property. A genuinely reliable and good service.

They truly went the extra mile to ensure I felt confident and secure in finding the right tenant—someone who would genuinely love and take care of my home. Throughout the entire process, they have been extremely communicative and efficient. Delivering great service and depth of knowledge. Overall, I feel secure, well looked after, respected and listened to. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

27th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!
7th Apr 2026 (27 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with OpenHomes, particularly with Pratik, who was one of the least helpful agents I have dealt with. I reported serious issues with my property in October, including an unstable toilet, unsafe bathroom flooring, and lack of proper hot water. Despite these being essential facilities, there was no urgency in addressing them. Communication was poor throughout. I repeatedly followed up and agreed to multiple proposed dates for repairs, but these were delayed or cancelled with no clear updates. At one point, I had to go months without being able to properly use the toilet flush and had to rely on manual alternatives. Even when additional issues like damp and mould developed, the response remained slow and uncoordinated. Requests for written confirmation or reasonable support were also not handled properly. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and dismissive of tenant concerns, especially given the seriousness of the issues. I would strongly advise others to carefully consider before renting through this agency. They don’t care about tenants.

It was long & tedious, to say the least, but the team always kept us going, even when we felt that everything was in danger of falling apart. Special shout out to Elliot, for all his much-appreciated updates; these genuinely kept us afloat for months on end. The congratulatory hamper we received from the company upon completion, was the absolute icing on the cake!
