When the house I really wanted came back on the market - she quickly informed me and I was able to complete on the property. Given my unique circumstances - Deana and the KFH team where on hand to guide the process. 10th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)I had an excellent experience with Bairstow Eves East Croydon, and I would particularly like to thank Rezah, who was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process of securing my new home.<br><br>When I contacted Rezah about a property I was very interested in, he managed to arrange a viewing for me that very same day, within approximately three hours of my call. By the following morning, I had already received confirmation that I had secured the property, along with the links to complete the necessary paperwork.<br><br>Having rented through several agencies before, I was genuinely impressed by how efficient and seamless the entire process was. Everything was handled online through a well-organised system, with clear instructions and no unnecessary duplication of paperwork or repeated requests for the same information. It was easily one of the smoothest and most straightforward rental experiences I've had.<br><br>I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches along the way, including a lovely welcome pack. Shortly after moving in, I was proactively contacted by the property management team, who introduced themselves and explained how to report maintenance issues and what to expect. This level of communication and coordination is something I haven't experienced with other letting agencies, and it made a very positive impression.<br><br>A special thank you to Rezah, whose responsiveness, professionalism and helpful approach made such a difference. Having previously experienced some difficult rental situations, I was honestly dreading the prospect of searching for another home and going through the entire letting process again, particularly while dealing with other changes in my life. Rezah made what could have been another stressful experience feel remarkably simple and straightforward.<br><br>Most importantly, he helped me secure a property I genuinely wanted, and I am very grateful for his support.<br><br>I would happily recommend Bairstow Eves East Croydon to anyone looking to rent. I experienced him to be well mannered, professional and accommodating throughout. I would highly recommend this company to others seeking a new home.
7th Oct 2026 (26 days ago)? 1 star — and honestly, I wish I could give zero.<br><br>If you are thinking about using Foxtons to manage or sell your property, please think very carefully before you do. My experience has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. What should have been a straightforward process turned into months of chasing, calling, emailing, escalating and repeatedly asking Foxtons to do things I was already paying them to do.<br><br>The biggest problem? I was paying Foxtons to manage my property, but I ended up having to manage Foxtons.<br><br>Communication was appalling. I was repeatedly told things would be dealt with, only to find myself chasing again because nothing had happened. I was passed between different members of staff, had to repeatedly explain the same issues and constantly push for basic answers. Nobody seemed prepared to take ownership and actually see a problem through to the end.<br><br>Then came the mess after the tenants vacated.<br><br>Half the keys were returned late and the other half had apparently been lost and were only found months later. There was substantial damage left at the property, yet I was left waiting month after month for quotations and updates. I chased and chased, only to eventually find that the matter had been dealt with through the deposit scheme and the result was £15.<br><br>£15.<br><br>After all the damage, delays and time spent chasing Foxtons, that was the outcome.<br><br>To make matters worse, Foxtons failed to properly communicate what was happening with the deposit process and I was subsequently cut off from the deposit scheme, leaving me with no meaningful way to pursue the matter. Six months later, I am still waiting for a promised phone call from Foxtons.<br><br>Then there was the completely unnecessary situation involving our new estate agent collecting the keys. I live overseas and my mum was struggling to get to the Foxtons office, so our new estate agent was doing us a favour by collecting the keys on our behalf. Instead of simply handing over the keys, a member of the Foxtons office staff became confrontational with our new agent and told him to come outside to fight.<br><br>This was completely unacceptable and completely unnecessary. Someone was trying to help us because I live overseas, and Foxtons managed to turn even the simple collection of keys into another confrontation.<br><br>By this point it was impossible to see these as isolated mistakes. Weeks would pass, I would chase, I would be given an assurance, nothing would happen and I would have to chase again.<br><br>I was living overseas throughout this. I wasn't asking Foxtons to do me a favour. I was paying them to manage my property. I should not have needed to spend hours making calls and sending emails from the other side of the world just to get basic things done.<br><br>Eventually I escalated the matter to senior management because the normal channels clearly weren't working. You would expect that to finally result in someone taking responsibility.<br><br>It didn't.<br><br>I received one email and then nothing. No meaningful follow-up, no resolution and no phone call.<br><br>For a company charging professional estate-agent fees, this level of service is completely unacceptable. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect communication, accountability and basic follow-through.<br><br>I would never use Foxtons again and I would strongly advise anyone considering using them to look elsewhere. Don't just judge an estate agent by how they appear when everything is going smoothly. Judge them by how they deal with problems.<br><br>In my experience, Foxtons didn't take ownership. They became another problem I had to manage.<br><br>An estate agent should make selling and managing your property easier. Foxtons made it harder, more stressful and far more time-consuming than it ever needed to be.<br><br>And the most ridiculous part? The matter is STILL not resolved. I am still waiting for an email back from Sam.

Buying a house can be a stressful process, but they were professional, responsive, and supportive throughout every stage.<br>One aspect that particularly stood out was the recommendation of an excellent solicitor. The conveyancing process was handled efficiently, and contracts were exchanged and completed remarkably quickly, making the entire purchase smooth and hassle-free.<br>What truly sets the team apart is the continued support even after the purchase was completed. Two years later, Callum kindly arranged a property valuation for me free of charge, which was incredibly helpful and demonstrates a genuine commitment to customer service long after the sale.<br>The communication, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile shown by Callum & Team were exceptional throughout. I’ll admit I was initially quite wary of estate agents, as I had always had the impression that the main priority was securing the sale and commission, but Michael completely changed that perception for me.<br><br>From the beginning, he really listened to what I liked and disliked and was always genuine and straightforward with me. I never felt pressured into making a decision, and I genuinely felt that he wanted to help me find the right property rather than simply make a sale.<br><br>My situation also had a few more moving parts than a straightforward purchase, and Michael was incredibly supportive and patient throughout the whole process. He followed up closely, kept things moving where he could, and often went above and beyond to help.<br><br>What I especially appreciated was how approachable he was. He would always reassure me that there was no such thing as a silly question and to just ask him anything, and he would always do his best to assist or find out the answer for me. That made what could have been quite a stressful process feel a lot easier.<br><br>Overall, Michael was sincere, responsive and genuinely supportive from beginning to end. I’m really happy with my new home and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a property!
