24th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)????? Excellent service from Cedar Estate I’m really pleased with the service I received from Cedar Estate, who successfully found a tenant for my property. From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. A special mention goes to Alex, the Letting Manager, and Trevor, the Administrator & Coordinator Manager. Both were extremely knowledgeable and experienced, which gave me full confidence throughout the process. They clearly know the market inside out and handled everything efficiently, keeping me updated at every stage. Thanks to Alex and Trevor, the whole letting process was smooth and stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cedar Estate to any landlord looking for reliable and expert support.
5th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)Appalling handling of tenancy deposit — avoid We vacated our property at Masters Court, Harrow on 30 January 2026 in good condition, and over a month later we have still not received our deposit back. The handling of this entire process by Connells has been deeply disappointing. Despite sending multiple emails and attempting to call numerous times, we have received nothing but vague responses saying they are "still liaising with the former landlord." No clear timeline, no transparency, and no accountability. Phone calls have gone unanswered, and no direct contact number has been provided despite requests. The items flagged in the checkout report are standard fair wear and tear under TDS guidelines — minor wall marks, limescale build-up typical of Harrow's hard water, None of these justify withholding our deposit. To make matters worse, wife is 24 weeks pregnant, and the unnecessary financial stress caused by this prolonged delay has had a real impact on her mental health and wellbeing. This is completely unacceptable. We have now raised a formal dispute through the tenancy deposit scheme, which should never have been necessary. We have never experienced such poor deposit handling with any previous letting agency. If you are a prospective tenant — be warned. We would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

He was always quick to reply, kept us updated, and chased things when they needed chasing which honestly made such a difference. You can tell he actually cares about getting things over the line for you, not just ticking boxes. Really appreciated how straightforward and helpful he was the whole way through. Would definitely recommend him.

He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, always available whenever I had questions, and very patient in addressing all my concerns. Everything was handled quickly and smoothly, which made the whole experience stress-free. I truly appreciate his professionalism and support.
20th Apr 2026 (16 days ago)Scott at RHW Estate was honestly great helping me and my friends move into our new flat on Finchley Road. He was always really quick to reply and answered all our questions clearly, which made everything feel a lot less stressful. He was super accommodating with viewings too, arranging a few different times so we could all make it work around our schedules. He also chased things up with the landlord and got back to us quickly whenever we had any requests or wanted changes. When we moved in, the flat was really clean and the inventory was clearly done—they made sure we were happy with everything before settling in. He even helped us sort out utilities, which we really appreciated. What stood out is that they’re just the letting agents, not even the managing agents, but Scott still went above and beyond for us. Overall just a really great service—would definitely recommend.

Sometimes you meet someone who is genuinely kind, sincere, and refreshingly human in a way that is all too rare and Paul is exactly that. He has struck the perfect balance between professionalism and approachability, always checking in, accommodating short-notice visits so I could measure up, and consistently going above and beyond. His support throughout the process has meant a great deal. Buying our home through Paul has been an emotional journey, and he has handled it with real care and heart. Once we shared our search criteria’s with Charlie, he showed us flats that matched these and allowed us online visits and also on site when we were in London. He was very reactive and super helpful. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
