From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. A special mention goes to Alex, the Letting Manager, and Trevor, the Administrator & Coordinator Manager. Both were extremely knowledgeable and experienced, which gave me full confidence throughout the process. They clearly know the market inside out and handled everything efficiently, keeping me updated at every stage. Thanks to Alex and Trevor, the whole letting process was smooth and stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cedar Estate to any landlord looking for reliable and expert support.
5th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)Appalling handling of tenancy deposit — avoid We vacated our property at Masters Court, Harrow on 30 January 2026 in good condition, and over a month later we have still not received our deposit back. The handling of this entire process by Connells has been deeply disappointing. Despite sending multiple emails and attempting to call numerous times, we have received nothing but vague responses saying they are "still liaising with the former landlord." No clear timeline, no transparency, and no accountability. Phone calls have gone unanswered, and no direct contact number has been provided despite requests. The items flagged in the checkout report are standard fair wear and tear under TDS guidelines — minor wall marks, limescale build-up typical of Harrow's hard water, None of these justify withholding our deposit. To make matters worse, wife is 24 weeks pregnant, and the unnecessary financial stress caused by this prolonged delay has had a real impact on her mental health and wellbeing. This is completely unacceptable. We have now raised a formal dispute through the tenancy deposit scheme, which should never have been necessary. We have never experienced such poor deposit handling with any previous letting agency. If you are a prospective tenant — be warned. We would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
22nd Apr 2026 (15 days ago)Tariq was so good throughout the whole process of buying our first place. It could’ve been really stressful but he just made it feel a lot easier and more under control. He was always quick to reply, kept us updated, and chased things when they needed chasing which honestly made such a difference. You can tell he actually cares about getting things over the line for you, not just ticking boxes. Really appreciated how straightforward and helpful he was the whole way through. Would definitely recommend him.

20th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Scott at RHW Estate was honestly great helping me and my friends move into our new flat on Finchley Road. He was always really quick to reply and answered all our questions clearly, which made everything feel a lot less stressful. He was super accommodating with viewings too, arranging a few different times so we could all make it work around our schedules. He also chased things up with the landlord and got back to us quickly whenever we had any requests or wanted changes. When we moved in, the flat was really clean and the inventory was clearly done—they made sure we were happy with everything before settling in. He even helped us sort out utilities, which we really appreciated. What stood out is that they’re just the letting agents, not even the managing agents, but Scott still went above and beyond for us. Overall just a really great service—would definitely recommend.

What really stood out was his responsiveness to our questions and the honesty and transparency he showed throughout the whole process. That level of trust made what could have been a stressful experience feel straightforward and reassuring. During these 8 years Anthony has been consistent in his care & understanding of all the needs that have arisen. He is professional & efficient while having empathy for every changing circumstances. I would highly recommend Global House Estates as a renter. You will be listen to and taken care of.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

When my original landlord lost the property due to unpaid loans and a new landlord took over, the branch was completely unhelpful. I was given poor guidance and left to deal with the situation myself. To make matters worse, after moving out I’ve been unable to recover my deposit, even though it was paid to Foxtons in the first place. There was no proper support, no accountability, and no effort to resolve the issue. Overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Been a couple of months and I can’t get my deposit back and no response from Foxtons apart from keep paying the landlord who doesn’t own the place anymore? Thankfully the new landlord was helpful but I still can’t get my deposit from the original landlord. Avoid avoid avoid!!!
