2nd Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)(2-April-2026 update) I am very disappointed with the way Barnard Marcus has handled my deposit return. Despite repeatedly following up, they continue to respond with vague messages like “I am still currently liaising with your former landlord in regards to what they may potentially be looking to claim for to deduct from your deposit.” This has been going on for far too long, and it feels completely unprofessional. The checkout inventory report clearly stated there were no damages and I have hired professional end of tenancy cleaning, so there is no reason for the landlord to spend days “looking for” deductions. The agency should be enforcing a clear deadline for the landlord, not helping them delay payment. I expected transparent and timely communication, but instead, I have experienced avoidable delays and poor accountability. Very disappointing service. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To future tenants, I wish you good luck and all the best coz you really needed it. People here just don't give a sh*t and don't care about delivering what they have promised. 1. I was only given the tenancy agreement 3 days before the tenancy start date, as I have mentioned multiple times that I need time to read the agreement and make payment and plan ahead for my moving, they only serve the landlord as the landlord is given a template and rights to modify any leasing terms 2 weeks ago, but I only got 3 days. And they insist that I need to start paying bills on the tenancy start day and not willing to postpone it even it is their fault to not send me the agreement earlier. Without any confirmation how am I suppose to make plans in moving? 2. They will not share the landlord's contact and saying I can contact them whenever I need help. However, whenever I needed them to ask landlord for confirmation, eg if it is ok to replace the traditional meter with smart meter, they will never help you and no reply. I tried to call and email, no response. Also I tried to ask them to confirm with landlord if water bill is also included, as the rent only stated hot water included. I tried to call Thames Water and got the reply is I cannot set up an account with them as the whole building was under 1 business account. I addressed this issue to Barnard Marcus Covent Garden and would would like to seek for a confirmation that I do not need to pay for water. What I got was, if you contacted Thames Water then I should take their advice. Come on! I need confirmation from you! not from Thames Water! There are many more little things that shows how irresponsible they are to Tenants, I hope this review can help anyone who is considering to rent from them. **When it comes to fixture maintenance, Hollie from the property maintenance team however did a great job, she replied my emails and follow up on the issues. I really appreciated her prompt response. PS. I will keep updating my frustrated experiences that I encounter with them.

Very proactive and informative throughout the process, made more challenging for him as I live in Australia and everything was dealt with on a ‘full arms length’ basis ! I would highly recommend both the services of Hamptons Real Estate and Robert in particular.

It was a pleasure to be dealing with an intelligent, helpful and knowledgeab le person. My buyers benefited from Charlotte's expert guidance. The Winkworth folk were unfailingly helpful, knowledgeable, honest, understanding, responsive, considerate & followed my instructions precisely. I have used the Pimlico branch for over 10 years now & all of their tenants have been first-rate. Highly recommended. Well done.

The staff and service offered to me whilst I had my house in Dorking was excellent although the sale took a long time it was always kept in the forefront of everyone who was involved . This year, we decided to go with Cubitt & West—and what a difference it made. Within just two weeks, they secured a full asking price offer, which exceeded all our expectations. From the very beginning, the team were professional, respectful, and incredibly positive about our property. Their enthusiasm really shone through and made a huge difference in how our home was presented. Communication was excellent throughout. They kept us constantly updated with viewing schedules and provided detailed, helpful feedback after each one. The team were always friendly, approachable, and genuinely lovely to deal with, which made the whole experience far less stressful. What really stood out was the good knowledge of both the building and the area (not an experience I had with other estate agents!). I also felt throughout the process they helped in smoothing things over, right to the very end. Would definitely recommend!

18th May 2026 (7 days ago)My good experience with this agency: I am much appreciated with the professional service provided by the sales agents ,especially Mr Adrian & Ken. My wife and I have just arrived in UK and know nothing about the local property market,however no suitable houses could be found despite we have approached quite a number of property agencies in Sutton and Worcester Park. Many agents were very indifferent,pushy or finished house viewing in a hurry. Some even did not answer our questions or provided obvious information about the concerned property. Adrian and Ken are very helpful,caring and supportive ,their professionalism in our first and second viewing of our targeted property in Worcester Park gives us a positive impression of the UK property agency. Believe or not,each house viewing consumed nearly 45 minutes!They even asked the neighbour to spare us a parking space . I highly recommend this agency.

We viewed it just now and it’s all scrap,, But amazing customer service and agents were very good with dealing and responses. Very professional
15th May 2026 (10 days ago)I would genuinely recommend using Truepenny’s Charlton if you want to sell your property. From the initial valuation (which was much more realistic that other overly inflated figures from other estate agents) the service by the team in the Charlton branch was excellent. We were trying to sell our flat in an already difficult market but Bhavi and David secured many viewings over the summer and finally an offer was made. The team were always available to help and nudge things along. I’d happily use them again.

Their response time is incredible (shoutout to James) and the move process was made so easy for me (shoutout to Alicia). I’ve had so many awful experiences with other London agencies but they really went above and beyond for me and ensured my renting process has been smooth-sailing and problem-free. Super pleased with their services!

30th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)I’ve been working with Streets Ahead for a number of years for lettings, and recently I had two properties become vacant within a short period, which was understandably stressful. I got in touch with my agent and worked closely with Scott, who acted quickly to find suitable tenants while meeting all my specific requirements. He also identified and suggested improvements to the properties that helped us turn them around efficiently. As a result, both properties were let quickly with minimal void periods. I gave Scott full responsibility for managing the process end-to-end, with minimal involvement from me, and he handled everything exceptionally well. Whenever I had any concerns, we discussed them openly and resolved them promptly. Overall, it’s been a very pleasant and professional working relationship.
