1st Jan 2026 (11 weeks ago)Stewart Oliver City Sales & Lettings is hands down the worst letting agency in Birmingham. They charged us the wrong amount and took payment immediately, despite the fact that no damage was caused at all — this happened on the first day. When challenged, they flat-out refused to admit their mistake or issue a refund. The staff in the office are rude, dismissive, and completely resistant. They have zero respect for customers and make no effort to listen or resolve issues. Every interaction feels like they are trying to intimidate rather than help. To make matters worse, they are letting commercial properties for residential use, which is extremely concerning and raises serious questions about the legality of their operations. This agency is unprofessional, unethical, and careless. They cause unnecessary stress and clearly do not care about tenants at all. Avoid at all costs.

He was brilliant, keeping me up to date throughout and arranging extra viewings as, and when, required. Always replied to my many enquiries very promptly. Helped to complete on a tight 8 week timeline, pre Christmas, due to seller requirements. Very happy to be in my first home for Christmas, can’t thank and recommend Mark and the team at Compass Elevation enough!
8th Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)Have rented through Martin & Co for nearly a decade now. In September a new Property Manager was assigned to my rental and she has been absolutely wonderful. Jude’s communication is fantastic, she’s extremely prompt and proactive and genuinely a pleasure to speak with.

I have recommended Wentworth and Rose to many of my friends and family and would not go to anyone else to sell a property. We really felt we were in good competent hands and got everything we asked for and more.

A special mention must go to Hayley and Hope, who were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They went above and beyond by allowing us to carry out several viewings at no extra cost, which was incredibly helpful and very much appreciated. They were also brilliant at constantly chasing all parties involved, keeping everything moving and ensuring the purchase was completed as smoothly as possible. They were always friendly, professional, and quick to respond, keeping us informed at every stage and helping to reduce what can be a very stressful experience. We’re genuinely grateful for their support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this estate agent to anyone buying or selling a property.

12th Mar 2026 (4 days ago)I would give Ryan Lynch of Siddall Jones 10 out of 5 for selling my mothers 4 lock up shops. He was commercial , thoughtful and helped every step of the way. Ryan often went above and beyond what was expected. A true professional in his field and I cannot understand the company's Google review score!!!! This does not reflect the standard I encountered which was excellent.

11th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Absolutely shocking service. Ringing multiple trying to get answers, so many times the phone cuts off without answering. Emailing countless times without any aknowledgment. Leaving a young female Tennant with mental health in need of resolutions for the flat & causing health deterioration due to no heating in property since when we had snow this year. WiFi being down for weeks. Draft through bedroom window. Paying rent for a service not provided. She even travelled from Dudley to the Smethwick office to seek answers, to which they still haven't resolved. Much better when landlord managed his own property. I don't know how they've won awards if this is the service they provide to the masses.
