While we didn’t end up purchasing from them, they were excellent during our viewing process and were extremely communicative and prompt. Alan even went out of his way while he was on holiday to organise a viewing for us and to answer any questions we may have had. We’re super grateful for that. His relationship with his sellers is more like good friends than clients and it shows that he really cares for the person on the other side. We highly recommend him and his team and hope to work with him again in the future.

Their support and attention throughout the process made us feel valued and reassured at every stage.<br><br>I wanted to leave this review because great service deserves recognition, and they truly earned it. From viewing the apartment to moving out, the team has been incredibly kind, professional, and supportive.<br><br>Whenever I had a question or needed assistance, they responded promptly and were always happy to help. Their communication by email is excellent, and it gave me real peace of mind knowing there was a team that genuinely cared about making me feel comfortable and at home, even as a tenant.<br><br>Having lived in London for over a decade, I can honestly say this level of service is rare. We met Paige initially who took our details and assured us she would help us navigate the current challenges in the market as best she could. She had a property coming on to the market which might suit needs. George then showed us around, handling a challenge with keys for the property with great calm and determination. we didn't feel rushed at all and could take time to get a feel for the property. We requested a second viewing, met by Paige again. She was insightful, open and helpful, guiding us through each step. In safe hands with these professionals, kind and not pushy in any way. Would highly recommend this firm and this team.

During an international relocation, with multiple barriers to renting, Jason demonstrated stellar professionalism and persistence. Jason has been highly responsive and supportive, and has helped us to understand and work through the rental process. We are incredibly appreciative of his time, patience, and excellent communication, and his willingness to go above and beyond for us as clients.
9th Jul 2026 (19 days ago)Avoid Johns & Co if you value honesty, professionalism, and your deposit.<br><br>This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had with a letting agency.<br><br>After we moved out, the agency attempted to make a number of unreasonable deductions from our deposit. They even tried to charge us for cleaning stains that were already recorded on the original inventory report before we moved into the property. We have documentary evidence showing these marks existed from day one, yet they still expected us to pay.<br><br>We also stayed an additional five days after our tenancy ended. We fully accepted that we should pay for those extra days. However, the agency calculated the rent incorrectly and attempted to overcharge us. When I pointed out the errors and asked them to explain the calculation, their attitude changed completely.<br><br>Ironically, when they wanted to deduct more money from our deposit, they were sending multiple emails every day demanding payment and pushing for a quick response. The moment we challenged the charges with evidence, they suddenly became impossible to reach. Emails went unanswered for long periods, and communication almost stopped altogether.<br><br>To make matters worse, before we moved in, we were told that certain unwanted furniture would be removed. It never was. We ended up paying to dispose of it ourselves, only to be told after moving out that they were “unaware” of the arrangement.<br><br>As tenants, we honoured our obligations. Instead, we’ve had to spend weeks chasing replies, collecting evidence, disputing inaccurate charges, and escalating the matter through the official tenancy deposit dispute process.<br><br>This isn’t just about the money. It’s about transparency, accountability, and treating tenants fairly. Based on our experience, Johns & Co failed on all three.<br><br>If you’re considering renting through this agency, keep every email, every receipt, every photo, and every inventory report. You may need them.

19th Dec 2025 (7 mo. ago)This is the worst agency so far. They tried to raise our rent without the approval of the landlord until we had to move. We did not know about this until the landlord called me and said he never asked for the rent to go up.
