J Lord were unphased by the challenge and felt that, with their local market knowledge and relationships on their books, we would be moving before our baby arrived…and they absolutely pulled it out of the bag! 23rd Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)I agreed a purchase on 5 Whitburn Avenue which was marketed and confirmed in the memorandum of sale as freehold. After instructing solicitors and incurring costs and a level 2 survey, it later emerged during conveyancing that the property was subject to a short lease of around 12 years, fundamentally affecting value and mortgageability. I withdrew immediately once this came to light. Despite requesting written confirmation that the sale was no longer proceeding, my emails were not responded to. This experience caused unnecessary stress and wasted legal costs. Buyers should independently verify tenure before proceeding.

Matthew Port is so helpful and responds really quickly to any query, he's so easy to deal with. I would highly recommend Martin & Co My purchase has now completed and I would like to add that Louise has the sort of customer service skills that you just can’t train -she’s naturally warm and friendly - I always come off the phone from her smiling-she’s an asset to the business.

They were prompt on time knew knowledge of area and property didn’t push me into putting property on market with them or going to auction like some tried to do. Very quick on marketing property and kept me informed. Faye went above and beyond her role and contacted me outside of office hours The service I received was exceptional I would highly recommend them

It’s the first time I’ve used Greens and had to market a flat very quickly due to it being a second property. Kieran was very professional, amazingly fast and guided me through the process quickly. He gave a thorough explanation of the selling process and his excellent photographs facilitated a subject to contract sale within a week. All our dealings with Castle Bromwich branch have been exemplary. We would have no hesitation in recommending this agency.

Over the past few years there has never been a message sent which isn't immediately, professionally and correctly answered. Leigh is very experienced in all aspects of tenancies and offers the landlord all of the benefits of that knowledge. An excellent person to ask advice from. I cannot recommend highly enough. A credit to Martin and co.
