1st Jan 2026 (20 weeks ago)Stewart Oliver City Sales & Lettings is hands down the worst letting agency in Birmingham. They charged us the wrong amount and took payment immediately, despite the fact that no damage was caused at all — this happened on the first day. When challenged, they flat-out refused to admit their mistake or issue a refund. The staff in the office are rude, dismissive, and completely resistant. They have zero respect for customers and make no effort to listen or resolve issues. Every interaction feels like they are trying to intimidate rather than help. To make matters worse, they are letting commercial properties for residential use, which is extremely concerning and raises serious questions about the legality of their operations. This agency is unprofessional, unethical, and careless. They cause unnecessary stress and clearly do not care about tenants at all. Avoid at all costs.

7th Apr 2026 (7 weeks ago)We recently purchased our grade2 home through Compass Elevation and we have to thank Mark Sheffield for making the process from our sellers side as smooth as possible. He was always available to show us around the property while we decided if it was the right move for us and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had in purchasing this grade2 building. He liaised quickly & effectively between us & our seller keeping us all up to date at all times and answered all our questions. I genuinely felt Mark cared & thanks to him we are now settled into our new home. I highly recommend Mark.

I have recommended Wentworth and Rose to many of my friends and family and would not go to anyone else to sell a property. We really felt we were in good competent hands and got everything we asked for and more.

Dave carried out the property valuation, along with several other agents and put us at ease with his local market knowledge and his sound property advice. Absolutely amazing and professional service from the whole Apple Property Solutions team. He gave a thorough explanation of the selling process and his excellent photographs facilitated a subject to contract sale within a week. All our dealings with Castle Bromwich branch have been exemplary. We would have no hesitation in recommending this agency.

Sally was always there either at the end of the phone or in the office when I would call in to get an update. Had we stayed in the area I know I would choose Englands again for my next sale. Highly recommend
22nd May 2026 (2 days ago)I had to keep contacting them to find out what was going on. Didn’t always respond to emails and phone calls. Had viewings but they didn’t seem to follow through with due diligence. Poor customer service. Changed agents after 6 months with them and sold within 2 weeks.

Moving can be quite stressful, it’s good to know you have incredible people supporting you along the way! Would highly recommend.
11th Feb 2026 (15 weeks ago)Absolutely shocking service. Ringing multiple trying to get answers, so many times the phone cuts off without answering. Emailing countless times without any aknowledgment. Leaving a young female Tennant with mental health in need of resolutions for the flat & causing health deterioration due to no heating in property since when we had snow this year. WiFi being down for weeks. Draft through bedroom window. Paying rent for a service not provided. She even travelled from Dudley to the Smethwick office to seek answers, to which they still haven't resolved. Much better when landlord managed his own property. I don't know how they've won awards if this is the service they provide to the masses.

From the initial meeting through to completion Matt, both Katie s , Ellie and Paula were approachable and professional and kept the communication lines open all the way through. I cannot recommend Acres Walmley highly enough for selling property and will miss my regular visits for an update. thank you all Yvonne and Ray
