15th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)I wasn't overly impressed by the estate agent. While they were upfront about the market and the difficulty in selling, I don't believe they were actively engaged in the marketing of the property. While presence for viewings, I felt that the agent showing lack knowledge of the properly and area with the owners really providing the viewing. When recieving an offer, there was an underlying pressure to accept a bid which was well below our expectations and only through our push back we were able to get a more satisfactory offer. Something I don't think we could have got with the guidance of the estate agent

I know this seems an unlikely word to use, but the process from start to finish with Andrew, Brenda and the team meant they were allways one step ahead of things to guide the way, alay any fears. Communicating always with clarity, grace and intelligence ensured the process never felt unpredictable, our out of control. It seems clear to me they like their jobs and the enthusiasm and quiet confidence they demonstrated created a sense of calm for us. Thank you again Richard, Brenda and Hunters team for a job well done.

14th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)I've recently bought my first home through Truepenny's in Charlton. Through the process of viewing properties I've met a good few estate agents and I have to say David at Truepenny's came across as the most honest and straightforward. No estate agent script or nonsense, no opening of cupboard doors and saying "look you've got a cupboard" (I've seriously had that before) and most importantly, no BS. I also thought the staff at Truepenny's went the extra mile, having seen the property online over the weekend I called the office on a Monday morning and they did a viewing the same day. And finally I was flying by a wing and a prayer at times to get everything across the line and I appreciated David's patience in all of that. I can highly recommend Truepenny's and would certainly use them if I was to sell or rent out my home in the future.

They were always very helpful and made it easy for me living abroad as they resolved the tenants minor issues practically and helped me when there were bigger issues. Would highly recommend

The viewing for a 1?bedroom flat in Elephant & Castle was arranged the same day, quickly and efficiently, and the property matched all my expectations. 7th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)I knew Barnard Marcus had an agency in Peckham, it felt local. Liam (Small), the Manager, immediately booked an appointment to visit my apartment to discuss the sale. Liam clearly knew the building, knew the figures for all recent sales of apartments in the building. I was certainly invited to discuss the price at which I’d like to sell the flat. It was clear that Liam and Barnard Marcus knew how to sell online. All very professional, a price was set.- 8th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Amazing agency, in particular Mr. Giancarlo. 27th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!

Amelia, was incredibly helpful throughout the viewing and application process, making everything smooth and stress-free. Since moving in, our property manager, Chloe Burgess, has been absolutely amazing- responsive, supportive, and genuinely proactive in making sure everything is running well. Overall, we have had a great experience and feel very well looked after.

1st May 2026 (4 days ago)This company is highly unprofessional and unreliable. Communication is extremely poor — emails and calls are often ignored, and urgent issues are not properly handled. During the tenancy, multiple problems were left unresolved, making the living experience stressful and frustrating. At the end, they charged unreasonable fees without clear evidence or justification. Please do not trust the positive reviews on Google Maps. I strongly suspect this company is inflating its rating with fake reviews????????????????????????? Overall, I would strongly advise others to avoid renting through this agency.

23rd Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)After years of being routinely disappointed by incredibly poor service of two large and well known managing agents, I contacted Eldridge Estates and they have been nothing short of brilliant. I cannot overstate how helpful Azadul was and has continued to be since he came to view my property. He arranged repair work, found great tenants quickly, and went out of his way to make things easier for me frequently. I wish I’d contacted E.E. years ago. It would have saved me countless headaches and a lot of money too. I high recommend them.
