2nd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Terrible service. We scheduled a viewing of a property and were not informed that the property had been sold until less than an hour before the scheduled viewing. We live over an hour from the property and were already on our way. Poor organisation and communication.
7th Nov 2025 (5 mo. ago)After months of mismanagement, overcharging, and broken promises, KFH have now gone one step further — quietly deducting unauthorised fees after confirming in writing that no further charges would be made. They re-labelled their management fee as a “4% rent collection fee” for November, despite acknowledging their management role had ceased, and added new “Rent & Legal Protection” charges we never agreed to. These deductions were made after we had made clear in writing that no further fees were to be taken. Although earlier management fees were finally refunded, KFH continue to act in bad faith by introducing new, invented costs. Their conduct has been deceptive, contradictory, and utterly unprofessional. We will continue to post updates until all unauthorised charges have been refunded.

From the very beginning until we got the flat, they were incredibly dedicated, helpful, and trustworthy. A huge thank you to Anna, Jason’s and Susie for all the support and care you gave us along the way. You went above and beyond, and we truly felt looked after throughout the process. This has been by far the best experience we've had in London yet, and that really means a lot to us. We couldn’t be happier with the service and are so grateful. Highly recommended!
23rd Apr 2026 (13 days ago)This is a really tight-knit company of genuinely great people who know their business and always have time for a friendly chat and give good advice on all relevant matters. Advice on preparation of my property from the manager Stuart, for best rental outcome was excellent and their commitment to managing my property smoothly afterwards is outstanding. Jay, in charge of the rental side, is always on her toes, and is up-to-date with all changes in government regulations and how to comply with them on my behalf. Very approachable and helpful at all times. Pauline who runs this firm is a most genuine professional, who stood in the winter rain to wait for the locksmith after working hours. I appreciate her long years of experience for guidance on housing matters. I highly recommend anyone to use this company for their housing needs.
30th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)Rampton Baseley have been a total dream to work with. Selling your house is never without bumps but they’ve been so supportive every step of the way. We put our house up for sale in a pretty bad market but they didn’t give up and they found a us buyer. When our buyer’s sale collapsed and they had to pull out we ended up going back on the market and they quickly found us a new buyer that aligned with our timeline. Dean has been hugely helpful in comms between us and the buyer and getting the sale to exchange. To top it off the initial valuation they gave us on our house was spot on. They clearly know their market very well! Highly recommend them and all done with a grounded, non-salesy approach.
4th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)I recently had to sell my parents home in West Wickham following probate. It was quite an emotional and upsetting experience and difficult at times as I do not live locally. However, James and Hannah were extremely helpful and sensitive and often went above and beyond checking that things at the house were ok. The sale went through very smoothly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alan de Maid.

14th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)I've recently bought my first home through Truepenny's in Charlton. Through the process of viewing properties I've met a good few estate agents and I have to say David at Truepenny's came across as the most honest and straightforward. No estate agent script or nonsense, no opening of cupboard doors and saying "look you've got a cupboard" (I've seriously had that before) and most importantly, no BS. I also thought the staff at Truepenny's went the extra mile, having seen the property online over the weekend I called the office on a Monday morning and they did a viewing the same day. And finally I was flying by a wing and a prayer at times to get everything across the line and I appreciated David's patience in all of that. I can highly recommend Truepenny's and would certainly use them if I was to sell or rent out my home in the future.

They were always very helpful and made it easy for me living abroad as they resolved the tenants minor issues practically and helped me when there were bigger issues. 20th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)This is a horrible letting agency. They took all of our deposit, the entire two month deposit. £2500 gone. They WILL exploit you. They will take your money. I even paid close to £300 on the professional cleaning service that this good for nothing agency suggested. We paid all of our rents on time, all bills on time. Kept the property like we were living in our own home. If you are unfortunate enough to have to take a house with them i suggest you do not engage with agent called LUKE PEGG. if you are hearing from this man they will be taking your money. I hope this agency goes out of business. No one reads comments but if you are reading this AVOID SAMUEL ESTATE AND LUKE PEGG. Scam, exploitative, unprofessional.

6th May 2026 (0 days ago)The process has been remarkably quick and efficient from receiving the Get Agent information on the 3-5 top performing local estate agents, to selecting our Personal Estate agent who has excellent knowledge of the local environment and current sales values. She supported our presentation of the home and her pre-publicity and social media "video teasers" were a highly useful marketing tool. We had received an offer before going to market due to her knowledge of local buyers. We did however wait to open market and have had an offer within 10days!
