28th Oct 2026 (4 days ago)The property was a pleasant bungalow owned by my sister and her husband. Unfortunately following Ken’s death it was clear my sister was unable yo look after herself, thus she was moved to a care home and the property marketed. Owing to their ages the property was not maintained to original standards which created difficulties for some potential buyers. During this period the staff at Auckland Estates, particularly Grace and Paul, worked tirelessly in achieving a sale at an acceptable price, while acting fairly with both myself and the ultimate buyer. As such I am happy to recommend the service provided as professional, friendly and supportive.

3rd Oct 2026 (29 days ago)Avoid - unprofessional and deceptive pressure tactics.<br><br>Very unpleasant experience with James Gough. Relieved we pulled out at an early stage, especially as first time buyers. We got the distinct impression that we could be taken advantage of.<br><br>We found a nice house which met our requirements earlier this year.<br><br>We made an original starting offer by email of £565k with a valid AIP in writing. Unfortunately, James refused to pass this on to the seller, stating that unless we had it backed by a mortgage broker he would not show it to the seller (he later denied this, and tried to claim that he did actually pass it on).<br><br>We then received a phone call a few days later asking us to increase the offer, as there was another higher offer on the table. James then asked to speak to our mortgage broker to confirm with them directly that we could afford our new higher offer of £585k. This all felt particularly rushed and we were certainly put under pressure to get a solicitor instructed.<br><br>We took a bit of time to reflect, then decided that we would reduce our offer, as we made a pressured decision that was beyond our budget. James called me aggressively claiming that he did us a massive favour and worked very hard to secure the house, as there was another offer exceeding £600k which had been accepted.<br><br>We stood our ground.<br><br>Turns out the house sold for £570k after all.<br><br>Stick to your guns, know your rights.<br><br>If you make an offer, they are legally bound to present it to the seller in writing, remember that (mortgage broker or not).

10th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)Our experience with HomeLink has been extremely negative.<br><br>We returned the keys on 14 May 2026 and recorded a video at the time of handover as evidence. Despite this, we were later told that the keys had only been returned on 2 June 2026. We have evidence showing otherwise.<br><br>When we rented the property, we were informed by Zach that there were no damp or mould issues. However, during our tenancy we experienced significant damp, mould and moisture problems throughout the property, particularly during the winter months. My wife and child developed asthma-related health problems, and we have supporting medical evidence.<br><br>We moved out on 30 April 2026 and were preparing to move into another property. During this process, HomeLink provided a negative reference, stating that rent payments had been late. We had already informed them in writing that my salary payment date had changed and requested that the payment date be adjusted accordingly. Despite this, the issue was not resolved.<br><br>HomeLink has withheld our £2,015 deposit and has attempted to charge rent for a period when we were no longer living in the property. We have written communications showing that we informed the agency in advance about leaving the property.<br><br>We feel that we were treated unfairly throughout this process. We have retained emails, messages, video recordings and other evidence and have started legal proceedings regarding these matters.<br><br>Potential tenants should carefully document all communications and thoroughly inspect any property for damp and mould issues before signing a tenancy agreement.

14th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)We purchased a new home in Brookmans Park through this estate agency in 2024. Although they have a very good selection of properties, we were unfortunately disappointed with the service we received during the buying process.<br><br>After viewing the property, we informed the agency that we wanted to proceed with the purchase. However, we experienced significant communication problems during the mortgage process. In both telephone conversations and email correspondence, we did not receive the courtesy, attention or support we expected. This left us feeling that completing the sale and earning the commission mattered more than customer satisfaction.<br><br>Once the legal process was complete, the key handover also felt rushed. A member of staff from the office met us outside the property in the morning, handed over the keys and quickly left.<br><br>Overall, despite their good property portfolio, their communication and customer service fell short of our expectations. For such an important purchase, we would have expected a more considerate and supportive approach.

From start to finish, the service was exceptional, and the sale of my flat was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine commitment. A special mention has to go to Nick, who truly went above and beyond at every stage of the process. He was proactive, responsive, and always willing to take the time to explain things clearly and keep me updated. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his dedication made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring.

It turned out to be an excellent decision.<br><br>Throughout the entire process, Mark and the team were fantastic. Professional, proactive, responsive and always willing to go the extra mile. Our sale certainly wasn't without its challenges, but Mark worked tirelessly to keep things moving, regularly going above and beyond to resolve issues and keep everyone informed.<br><br>What really stood out was the level of communication and genuine commitment to getting the sale over the line. 4th Oct 2026 (28 days ago)LOOK ELSEWHERE!!<br><br>One star, and only because zero isn't an option.<br><br>I rented through the West Hampstead branch for a year.<br>For the entire tenancy I repeatedly asked for letterbox keys and never received them. The property manager assigned to my flat changed several times over the year, so there was never anyone accountable and emails routinely went unanswered for weeks.<br><br>Checkout was worse. They proposed nearly £1400 in deposit deductions, including charges for pre-existing issues plainly visible in their own check-in report (a missing radiator cap documented as missing before I even moved in), £300 to clear a few small leftover items, and a £360 cleaning charge despite the full photographic record of the clean I provided. Every figure was a round number with no invoice attached.<br><br>The law puts the burden of proof for deposit deductions on the agent. This felt like a systematic attempt to monetise the deposit instead. Prospective tenants should look elsewhere.
21st Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Scott, Jackie and the rest of the team were great throughout the house buying process.<br>Scott handled the negotiations very professionally and brokered the deal so that the buyer (us) and the seller could make the deal happen that both were happy with. Always available when you needed them and on top of things with the right follow ups. I would work with them when I need to sell or buy a property.

Amazing Service from Kerry!<br><br>I honestly cannot thank Kerry enough for everything she did for us!<br><br>From start to finish, she made the whole process so quick, smooth and stress-free. She went above and beyond to do everything possible to help us secure the house we really wanted, and thanks to her hard work and dedication, we got the house we wanted which we are genuinely so happy and excited about!<br><br>What really stood out was how kind, approachable and supportive Kerry was throughout. Selling a house can be stressful, but they made the whole process so much smoother and easier for us.<br><br>A special thank you to Clare, who was always so lovely and helpful. After every house viewing, she would follow up with us and keep us updated with feedback.
