Particular thanks to Callum, James and Mel for their many kindnesses and excellent communication along the way. We're not planning to move again soon (maybe ever) but would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area. Thank you all so much!

While timelines were demanding for the sale and onward purchase, Dawn ensured seamless communication and management of the buyer and solicitors to acheieve a smooth sale. Highly recommended.

19th Apr 2024 (29 days ago)Just a reminder to everyone about how Orland Reid tried their hardest to screw me a while back (unsuccessfully). They subsequently also tried to report my negative review to Google to have it deleted (also unsuccessfully). I still feel so angry about this and feel it's important to warn others about the conduct of this agency, even after some time has passed - here's my original review: AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!! These guys tried unsuccessfully to retain my deposit, blame damage on me that was not on any inventory report and charge me for "work" needed to rectify this fictitious damage using their own workmen, whose quotes for work were laughably extortionate (so no tender process/transparency and taking a cut, no doubt). I had to go through 3 months of tenancy deposit scheme adjudication to get my money back. Their staff and, importantly their owner/partner, deliberately misled me repeatedly and withheld information throughout the whole process, making it as difficult and long winded as possible. The intention must have been that I'd just get too frustrated and give up? They were also paid by the landlord to act on their behalf but at the same time claim to be totally impartial (which is impossible).They are solely motivated by money - this scamming must be part of their business plan and I cannot imagine I am the only one who has had to go through this unnecessary, time consuming and upsetting process. If I could give them zero stars I would. if I could take them to court to reclaim money for the amount of my time they wasted, I would. It makes me so angry that "Estate Agents" like this can still exist. There are so many better, more trustworthy and honest agencies out there, there really is no need to put yourself through the nightmare of dealing with Orlando Reid. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! You have been warned!
2nd Apr 2024 (7 weeks ago)I sold my house through move Revolution and Harvey was my main point of contact. I had initially used another etste agent for the sale but had 1 viewing in 3 months so decided change and very happy that I did. I was going through a divorce too, Harvey was brilliant from start to finish and very understanding of my circumstances. I had a smooth transaction and my house was sold fast and without any issues. Thank you very much Harvey and the team.

They would have all the compliance issues arranged for us without us worrying. Cristiana, Perry and the team are lovely to work with and never a question go unanswered. Would highly recommend!

22nd Apr 2024 (26 days ago)My experience with oaks has been amazing. Although they initially did my valuation i went with Annother estate agent which a friend had recommended which was a bad decision. However James kept in touch,once out of contract I moved over to Oaks. Michael and sol came to view the house and asked questions. Viewings started relatively quickly and frequently. I received an offer not too long after. Michael held my solicitors to task. He frequently emailed them and kept me constantly updated.The whole process moved swiftly without any issues. I would recommend oaks ,it was been a fantastic stress free experience selling my house with them All in the month of my birthday ! Thankyou Michael and the team.

When the sale was getting a little “tricky” in the latter stages, Ellie really persisted with the buyer and made sure we could get completed and over the line by communicating a lot with the buyer and solicitor. It was good to have Ellie in our corner for it!

When all other elements of my selling/buying experience were incredibly painful and longwinded, Simon was steadfastly helpful, patient and on-the-ball. 28th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)I had tried another EA previously who were full of empty promises, I moved to Paul and the attention to service was superb, he helped at all stages including visiting the property to fix various items and ensure it looked great for visits by potential buyers - the property was sold within 10 weeks - thoroughly recommended dont try others just go to Folklands - great service

Really proactive, communication was excellent with a weekly update call as well as an WhatsApp chat and proved they were driven to not only sell my property but also to get the right price. I would definitely recommend Oaks Estate Agent.

Any issues were resolved punctually and communication was smooth. Dan always checked in with us to make sure we were informed, and we found APX to be very proactive at every stage. 25th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)Lived in a flat provided by the agency for almost 2 years. The state of the flat when I moved in wasn’t great and everything broke. Boiler broke several times, once for 3 weeks over the winter and the agency didn’t seem to mind it too much and they “generously” let £50 off my rent. All my heaters broke as well and had to be changed. The agency couldn’t tell me, who my electricity provider was when I was trying to change providers and the actual electricity meter was registered under the wrong address so it was impossible to change it. Before moving out they asked me to provide the flat for a 4 hour hours long viewing sessions, which I agreed to and the girl who was carrying out the viewings locked herself into the bathroom, disturbing my expensive theatre experience. Luckily an emergency locksmith got her out leaving a mess. Whenever anything broke, the handymen would leave a mess and I got to clean. When moving out, the procedure the estate agency has was extremely stressful, they ended up deducting for cleaning after the flat was professionally cleaned. They ended up deducting for minor damages for things that were already used and not in great condition, when I moved in. I would stay away from this company in the future.
