She is always quick to respond to emails and questions and very patient in explaining the different processes and time frames to me. Most recently she has helped me arrange a mortgage so I could move down to the coast and she took all the stress out of the situation. She explains options clearly and thoroughly and had regular, friendly check ins throughout the process. Thank you so much!

I had a buyer and the deal didn’t go through because the agents wanted cash under the table. Also former member of staff from the Bromley branch made it clear he and alongside a few other with different background were getting pushed out the company
27th Apr 2026 (9 days ago)I wanted to say a big thank you to Sam Cheeseman for all the help he gave while my parent was buying their first home. From the start, Sam was really easy to talk to, and he explained things clearly, which helped take a lot of the stress out of the process. He was always happy to answer our questions (and we had quite a few), and he kept us updated throughout, which made everything feel much more manageable. He was supportive, and genuinely seemed to care about helping us through such an important step. Buying a first home can be quite overwhelming, but Sam made the whole experience feel a lot smoother. We would also highly recommend John Payne Lee for their excellent service and support throughout. Thanks again, Sam we really appreciate everything you did for us.

Luke handled everything from viewings, to tips, to the marketing and on going communication. Luke is a real people’s person who’s professional but approachable always. Luke was able to get me more for my property than rival agents valued it at and it was a smooth interaction throughout. Very grateful and happy, would recommend the agency and Luke to anyone thinking to buy/sell in the area. I’ve sold and purchased properties before and this was my best experience. Thank you.

4th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)I recently had to sell my parents home in West Wickham following probate. It was quite an emotional and upsetting experience and difficult at times as I do not live locally. However, James and Hannah were extremely helpful and sensitive and often went above and beyond checking that things at the house were ok. 9th Apr 2026 (27 days ago)I have just called this company to get a rough idea of how much a 2 bedroom property would cost in the West Norwood area to buy. I was told that they could not give me anything without a valuation. I said that it was only a rough idea that I required and asked why. The person who answered the phone stated that he did not know who I was. I was only asking a general question and nothing specific. I was really taken back with his answer and attitude. I called a couple of other agents, their answer was much more helpful. I have 2 properties in that area that I am thinking of selling and I will definitely not use Northwood West Norwood. I do not even want to give 1 star.
5th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)Recently bought a house through David Evans & Co and dealt mainly with Mark. He was brilliant from start to end! Such great communication and a pleasure to deal with. So much better than the estate agent I was selling with, which was one of the big London agents and really didn't care. You could tell that Mark's clients matter to him. If I sell this house in future, I will 100% be using David Evans & Co to sell it.

They were always responsive and kept me well informed at every stage, and their guidance and support were second to none. 8th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)I chose Black & Blanc to sell my mother's house ahead of a move to Oxfordshire. Everything from start to finish was managed fantastically well and given my mother is an elderly woman with dementia, handled her sensitively and brilliantly. This was a difficult chain with late complications and a tight timeframe but the whole move was done in under 3 months. That it got done at all was down to the tenacity, professionalism and proactivity of the team there - our negotiator Rhianna in particular, supported by the co-founder Kapil at the business end - in particular in pushing solicitors all across the chain and leaving nothing to chance. Yes, this agent is a little more expensive than some agents but they are so worth it - you don't want to cut corners on something as stressful as a house move. Highly recommended!

Our house sale and purchase with them went very smoothly and was even enjoyable. There is a very family-like atmosphere in the office, and it truly felt like we were dealing with good friends who were always on our side. Their support and communication throughout the process were excellent. We can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you for all your help, Richard, Paul, Sophie, and the entire Folklands team. 4th May 2026 (2 days ago)We can't recommend Loft enough! We were buying our first home and were fortunate to have Ollie and the Loft team guiding us through the process. They could recommend a good broker and solicitor to us and were always approachable and happy to answer our many questions. They also had great knowledge of the area and were very flexible to show us different properties in the area we were interested in. All in all, every member of the team was helpful and simply lovely to talk to. All of this made the house buy so pleasant. Thank you, Loft team!
