He was of great help and very responsive, which helped smoothen the not always easy processes. We would recommend landlord to use KFH services when renting their properties.

21st Oct 2024 (12 weeks ago)Review relates to property management and their dubious billing / service charge practice. Willmott's charged almost 3 times more for building insurance - when I asked they conveniently mention its the best price their broker managed to find yet i was able to get a like for like policy on open market for £11k less. Standard cleaning charges ~ £50 per hour, bogus charges eg removal of fire extinguishers that had already been removed a year before, £130 for placing no smoking sign, sending out contractors for a job that was not done properly in the first instances and then charging residents multiple times in the space of a year for the same job... an incompetent staff that changes the colour of your own front door without even asking for your consent presumably to drive up invoicing/extra management fees ... the list goes on. Strongly urge anyone that has Willmott's as their managing agents to look closely at your itemised service charge bills to avoid being over charged

I cannot thank them enough. Great team. Would thoroughly recommend them.

29th Oct 2024 (11 weeks ago)they may be good for landlords, but as a tenant I've been very disappointed. They only do enough, never give you a friendly advice, always pretend to being correct towards all the parts while they're really only caring of their income. Never had big things to complain but many small ones - for example using their fob to get into the building and in front of my door instead of using the intercom to get access, even when invited to. Edit: 10 years after I left this review - they decided to reply with some accusations, so it seems that they haven’t changed! For the records, I left the flat clean, and paid for the end of tenancy cleaning, like requested. But hey, this show again they are not nice. Approach with caution.

In a tough market where me and my partner have been searching for a property for over 4 months, he has provided a personal approach in an otherwise stressful time for us both and made us feel calm and reassured throughout a difficult process. His knowledge of the complex market provided us with the expertise we needed to put in a highly competitive offer and navigate negotiations. His consistent communication kept us, and continues to keep us, in the loop at all times. His attentiveness did not go unnoticed and we recommend him to anyone looking for a proactive agent who will support you every step of the way.
18th Mar 2024 (9 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
10th Jul 2024 (6 mo. ago)The acid test of an organisation is not what happens when things go to plan, it is when they do not. The team at Stonebridge worked with us over a year to refurb our mother's flat to a high standard, having spent time to go over all the options. In spite of losing two buyers and a final one that also brought challenges, and with unexpected glitches during the refurb, throughout all this the entire team - whomever you dealt with - were reassuring, human, understanding, knowledgable and patient, when it would have been all too easy for all of us to lose the plot. We sold at a good price, and I was left feeling grateful we followed our instincts on first meeting Saylan and Peter that these were 'good people'. Much as I am glad it is all over, a part of me is sad I will not be in regular contact. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
