She and the team made the whole experience very easy to understand and had great communication, sorting out any issues that came and trying to help as much as possible.
7th Apr 2026 (27 days ago)We went to see the apartment that was available for rent, we liked it. We did all the checkings, filled all the forms, all good. The agent we met insisted to us on talking with the actual landlord to tell him that we are leaving from his apartment. After we did that, he told us that the house is no longer available so this created a very very very unpleasant situation with the actual landlord that almost didn't wanted to let us stay anymore in his apartment. This company is a total shame and scam 1st Edit: My 1st reply to yours: Nice try ! I have attached a picture, maybe you can remember now. I have 2text messages as well. You're embarrassing. Another reason for others to avoid your company. 2nd Edit: My 2nd reply to yours: First of all, the flat was listed by your company, not a different one. On Rightmove, there is your address, not the address of the company you tried to push forward to take YOUR fault. At least now, be professional and assume the errors that you make and stop trying to act like people are stupid and get you wrong, because this is not the case. Second of all, I think you forget what your website shows. Indeed, the company you suggested to make a review exists, but it is also included in your point of contact section, so that would still fall under your company duty. And lastly, I wrote this review for the whole company, not specifically to the sales area, because your whole company works on both sales and renting. So, do not try to fool people here as long as we are aware of our acts. I can see that I am not the only one here complaining about you, so you may want to think this is a sign to work on your professionalism and how you deliver your work to the clients, not to try get out of it blaiming others, or suggesting people are lying because you “do not have any knowledge” of this. Another pic attached. I have pics from inside the house as well. If Google asks, I'll provide them even more details.

25th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Deeply Concerning, Disorganised, and Discriminatory Experience with Dimension Estates I am writing this based on my close friend’s experience with Dimension Estates, and frankly, it is alarming. The situation my friend Ruben Nobre was involved in raises serious concerns about how applicants are being handled and prioritised. For queer people — especially those already navigating housing insecurity — experiences like this do not exist in isolation. When processes are opaque, inconsistent, and dismissive, they create space for bias, whether explicit or implicit. There is a long history of queer individuals, including those who are already marginalised or in precarious circumstances, being overlooked, deprioritised, or subtly excluded from housing opportunities. Situations like this reinforce that reality. When someone does everything right and is still pushed aside under questionable circumstances, it is difficult not to question whether prejudice — including homophobia or queerphobia — is playing a role, or at the very least being enabled by a lack of transparency and accountability. For many, housing is not just about convenience — it is about safety, dignity, and the possibility of a future. Experiences like this send a very clear message: that some people are more easily disregarded than others. Dimension Estates seriously needs to address not only its communication and organisation, but also the fairness and integrity of its processes. Right now, it is failing on all fronts.

Jeremy, Amy and Hayden were all excellent throughout, proactive, communicative and incredibly supportive, especially during the more stressful stages of the process. Their persistence and teamwork really helped keep everything moving. We’d also like to recognise the wider office, as everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you all for your hard work, we’re so happy to now be settling into our new home!- 1st May 2026 (3 days ago)Had a really good experience with Bairstow Eves. Sam and Jessica were super helpful and easy to deal with, always quick to respond and kept things moving smoothly. They understood what we were looking for and helped us find a place quicker than we expected. Overall, the whole process felt straightforward and stress-free. Really appreciate their support.

30th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)I used Foxtons around November time to try and sell my late father's home. To be fair they are very good estate agent and actually make an effort to sell your home unfortunately after some disagreements we parted ways. They would have sold the house literally in the first week. Now im with another estate agent a much smaller firm they are ok but not as good as Foxtons. In the last few months I've researched and contacted estate agents and to be fair most of them in Walthamstow are lacklustre and not bothered, however I'd say Foxtons are the best of the bunch as they actually make an effort to get your house sold. In the next month or so will have to look for another estate agent as my contract has ended with my current estate agent. Anyhow a special thanks to Sonny (Sales Manager) he's excellent and did the best he could, if you're selling your house in Walthamstow Foxtons would be a great choice. 16th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)Transition from Dubai to London was very stressful and had no to limited idea about rentals in London however after contacting several people and agents we found Allen Goldstein and met Lui . Lui was fantastic to work with during our rental search in London. He was very responsive, helpful, and made the whole process much easier than we expected. He kept us informed every step of the way and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend Lui if you’re looking for a rental in London.

Although I was not a direct user of their agency for my sale, both Faye and Mandy were instrumental in managing the chain and the sales process for their buyer and was in contact with me throughout as the seller. If you are looking for an honest friendly agency that are dedicated to delivering outcomes in the London/Havering area I would look no further than Chalk Street Estates.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

He has a naturally warm and personable manner that made the whole experience feel far more attentive than property viewings can sometimes be.
