25th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)Gotta be a scam. Called 5-6 times, e-mailed numerous times. Can’t get any viewings, can’t get a callback. Most likely racially profiling and choosing who they contact. Shame because I found a property I really liked and was ready to pay the year upfront, but after reading the reviews I’m happy I didn’t. Would stay away from this agency!!!

Shayan guided me through the process in a professional and friendly way and was always on hand by email, text or call to answer my queries and make the process as simple as possible. 10/10 would recommend.

From the first (of a few different) showings throughout signing for our flat, every single person we worked with at John D. Wood was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process; especially considering we were new to the unique intricacies of renting in the United Kingdom. Jessie went so far above and beyond to understand our specific needs, preferences, and timeline, and was incredibly responsive to answer any question we had. Being new to the United Kingdom and London, her knowledge of different neighbors and renting practices was hugely helpful. Kelvin in particular was excellent, as he was always available for any clarifications, and his clear communication style and transparency throughout ensured that I was kept well informed of all developments. Thoroughly deserved 5*!
24th Apr 2024 (19 days ago)If there is such a thing as a dream estate agent concept, it is personified by Malcolm, for sure. Knowledgeable, likeable, patient, always reassuring. I am a 1st-time buyer, and as this was my 1st ever purchase, I was generally terrified and had to learn loads on the go, and quickly. I was blessed to have Malcolm on my side and without him I am not sure I could have made it through! I will keep as my friend forever, as I am so grateful. Remus

His market awareness, energy and enthusiasm made me feel I was in great hands. He gave great impartial advice and it was clear regardless of outcome that he wanted us to find the right place. 18th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)I've had some good and some bad experiences throughout my 1.5-year tenancy at a flat managed by Chesterons. Unfortunately it ended pretty poorly. Despite having handed over the keys at the end of January 2024, they have yet to complete the end-of-tenancy procedures and have been extremely unresponsive to email.
17th Apr 2024 (26 days ago)Thankx to Zoe Bailey at Reeds residential in southend on sea, she went extra mile to get my family a place to stay, after 4months of searching for accommodation.most of the residential agency's could not help, even we had money to pay rent for 3 months. As first time tenants it was so difficult to get help from the agency,,we viewed more than than 50 houses In the past 4months, westcliff on sea. Leagh on sea, and Southend-on-Sea.. But we could notbe offered.. To my surprise most of the of the house we viewed are still empty and not occupied.. Most south end housing agency to be honest are very difficult to deal with and very unhelpfully. But Zoe Bailey at Reed residential and was super star for us..
22nd Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Last time I rented anywhere was over a decade ago in Manchester, so I was a bit intimidated by the prospect of entering the cut-throat world of renting in London. Fortunately, it was Gyan that answered the phone, and we couldn’t be happier with the service he provided. Gyan took the time to find out exactly what was important to us and only sent us details of properties that were the right fit, which really helped as we were both working full-time and based in Manchester meaning time was at a premium. Gyan’s communication was great throughout via phone, email and Whatsapp depending on the situation. Viewings were always on time and very professional. The standout for us was that Gyan was infinitely patient and never too busy to answer our queries.

They were so determined to sell my property from the start and did just that (and quickly) when other agencies failed. 20th Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)Excellent lettings, horrible tenancy management. I rented my apartment in 2020 through 'Reliable Homes' which was later acquired by 'Drivers & Norris'. After this acquisition, getting a reply from the agency on any non-emergency issue became a test of patience, though to their credit they would 'eventually' get the issue resolved. Few times this became extremely stressful, for example when it took me 6 months and several emails, including notices of formal complaint to the The Property Ombudsman, to get my tenancy deposit back after vacating the apartment in a perfectly fine condition.

Winnie at Circa EC2 helped me with putting an offer in for a property and getting terms and requests approved with the landlord in a very communicative way that advocated for me as a prospective tenant as much as for the landlord, something all too rare in the London market. I would highly recommend Circa to anyone searching for a flat in London over any other letting agent I have used.
