From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. A special mention goes to Alex, the Letting Manager, and Trevor, the Administrator & Coordinator Manager. Both were extremely knowledgeable and experienced, which gave me full confidence throughout the process. They clearly know the market inside out and handled everything efficiently, keeping me updated at every stage. Thanks to Alex and Trevor, the whole letting process was smooth and stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cedar Estate to any landlord looking for reliable and expert support.
5th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)Appalling handling of tenancy deposit — avoid We vacated our property at Masters Court, Harrow on 30 January 2026 in good condition, and over a month later we have still not received our deposit back. The handling of this entire process by Connells has been deeply disappointing. Despite sending multiple emails and attempting to call numerous times, we have received nothing but vague responses saying they are "still liaising with the former landlord." No clear timeline, no transparency, and no accountability. Phone calls have gone unanswered, and no direct contact number has been provided despite requests. The items flagged in the checkout report are standard fair wear and tear under TDS guidelines — minor wall marks, limescale build-up typical of Harrow's hard water, None of these justify withholding our deposit. To make matters worse, wife is 24 weeks pregnant, and the unnecessary financial stress caused by this prolonged delay has had a real impact on her mental health and wellbeing. This is completely unacceptable. We have now raised a formal dispute through the tenancy deposit scheme, which should never have been necessary. We have never experienced such poor deposit handling with any previous letting agency. If you are a prospective tenant — be warned. We would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
20th Apr 2026 (16 days ago)Scott at RHW Estate was honestly great helping me and my friends move into our new flat on Finchley Road. He was always really quick to reply and answered all our questions clearly, which made everything feel a lot less stressful. He was super accommodating with viewings too, arranging a few different times so we could all make it work around our schedules. He also chased things up with the landlord and got back to us quickly whenever we had any requests or wanted changes. When we moved in, the flat was really clean and the inventory was clearly done—they made sure we were happy with everything before settling in. He even helped us sort out utilities, which we really appreciated. What stood out is that they’re just the letting agents, not even the managing agents, but Scott still went above and beyond for us. Overall just a really great service—would definitely recommend.

30th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)Property agent communicated until the rental agreement was signed. No response to any queries or maintainence after which was irresponsible and negligent. Even trying to end tenancy after was a nightmare with sly and underhanded approches to extend the lease solely for their profit. A real warning to both landlords and tenants to choose more ethical letting agencies to amange your housing needs.

Ryan went out of his way at the end of the process as we had already left the property and were 2hr drive away. His flexibility and kindness were greatly appreciated. 16th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)Transition from Dubai to London was very stressful and had no to limited idea about rentals in London however after contacting several people and agents we found Allen Goldstein and met Lui . Lui was fantastic to work with during our rental search in London. He was very responsive, helpful, and made the whole process much easier than we expected. He kept us informed every step of the way and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend Lui if you’re looking for a rental in London.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Prompt replies make the communications easier and much appreciated. The rates are within range of local competition, but the options available (within the price range of interest) is very competitive.
