29th Jan 2026 (11 days ago)Avoid this "Agency" if you can. Firstly, they force you into a no-deposit option (despite advertising the deposit option). They then tell you either the no-deposit option or no property at all. There's a lack of communication; sometimes, no answers are provided at all. I had to wait for an answer regarding an allocated car park space for almost six months, and despite chasing it, I received no answer. Had to wait for answer about payment systems and received no responce at all. Only got a call after leaving review on here which i originaly deleted. The property is given to you filthy, and if you want to replace something, you'd better do it yourself. They change payment systems with no communication and harass you to make payments despite you having made payments to the originally agreed bank details, only to find out that it has changed. Now that I've moved out, I am being harassed with charges for a broken kitchen door, which wasn't damaged by me. The no-deposit option, which is paid to cover things like this, is being ignored, and you are still forced to make payments to fix things. This is just a short version of the disappointment, lack of service, and unfair treatment you are going to receive.

From the initial enquiry through to viewing, payment, and contract signing, the entire process was handled efficiently and transparently. Nav, the agent who facilitated my letting, was particularly outstanding. He was professional, patient, and consistently responsive. Even on occasions when he missed my call, he always returned it promptly and spoke courteously, taking the time to address every question clearly. This level of communication made the process far less stressful and built a lot of trust. The viewing was well organised, all financial details were explained properly, and the paperwork was handled smoothly without unnecessary delays. What I’m getting at is that I had never got in touch with them and it had never been listed through them. I do not like this idea of them saying should we relist!

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
