23rd Apr 2026 (14 days ago)We meet Grant Brown and Nicola MacDonald from Choices estate agents when looking for a property. Our search was in the Sanderstead, South Croydon, Purely and Caterham areas which there South Croydon branch covers. From our first contact with Grant he took the time to understand what it was that we were looking for and this ultimately led us to the lovely house we now own. We had been looking for a while with other agents and had started to feel like we were waisting our time. Grant then talked with us about a lady’s property that was just about to come off the market it sounded perfect for us! He managed to get us in for a viewing really quickly . The house was just what we were looking for! Grant and Nicola were very helpful and professional throughout the process. communication was excellent. Any issues answered quickly and throughly. It was a very positive experience with Nicola and Grant. Thank you both very much

I had a buyer and the deal didn’t go through because the agents wanted cash under the table. Also former member of staff from the Bromley branch made it clear he and alongside a few other with different background were getting pushed out the company

4th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)I recently had to sell my parents home in West Wickham following probate. It was quite an emotional and upsetting experience and difficult at times as I do not live locally. However, James and Hannah were extremely helpful and sensitive and often went above and beyond checking that things at the house were ok. 9th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)I have just called this company to get a rough idea of how much a 2 bedroom property would cost in the West Norwood area to buy. I was told that they could not give me anything without a valuation. I said that it was only a rough idea that I required and asked why. The person who answered the phone stated that he did not know who I was. I was only asking a general question and nothing specific. I was really taken back with his answer and attitude. I called a couple of other agents, their answer was much more helpful. I have 2 properties in that area that I am thinking of selling and I will definitely not use Northwood West Norwood. I do not even want to give 1 star.
5th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)Recently bought a house through David Evans & Co and dealt mainly with Mark. He was brilliant from start to end! Such great communication and a pleasure to deal with. So much better than the estate agent I was selling with, which was one of the big London agents and really didn't care. You could tell that Mark's clients matter to him. If I sell this house in future, I will 100% be using David Evans & Co to sell it.

I dealt with Sky and Danielle, who were both professional, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with throughout. They were always responsive and kept me well informed at every stage, and their guidance and support were second to none. They made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and well-managed from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

14th Apr 2026 (23 days ago)I've recently bought my first home through Truepenny's in Charlton. Through the process of viewing properties I've met a good few estate agents and I have to say David at Truepenny's came across as the most honest and straightforward. No estate agent script or nonsense, no opening of cupboard doors and saying "look you've got a cupboard" (I've seriously had that before) and most importantly, no BS. I also thought the staff at Truepenny's went the extra mile, having seen the property online over the weekend I called the office on a Monday morning and they did a viewing the same day. And finally I was flying by a wing and a prayer at times to get everything across the line and I appreciated David's patience in all of that. I can highly recommend Truepenny's and would certainly use them if I was to sell or rent out my home in the future.

I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

I dealt with Stephen Waller in the branch who offered an impeccable service from the moment I first met him. He kept in touch through out the transaction, was always polite and professional, was constantly liasing with the solicitors and was a great help . 22nd Apr 2026 (15 days ago)We saw a house that we were very much interested in viewing. I phoned up in the afternoon to get through to Nigel. House buying can come across as a bit of a lottery. Nigel made the process easy, because he has a warm, friendly, funny and helpful character. After the viewing, I registered my keen interest in the property. We maintained contact while i was waiting to sell. I can honestly say that i would never have got the house without his help. Overall, he is an excellent estate agent that I can recommend with absolute confidence. Would also like to give a big shout out to Lewis, Dane, Rosie, Tamsin for professionalism and hard work getting us over the line. So greatful. Many Thanks. Buy with Cubitt and West with confidence. They also had great knowledge of the area and were very flexible to show us different properties in the area we were interested in.
