Terry and Lucie were responsive and easy to deal with, kept us updated at each stage, and helped keep things moving between the solicitors on both sides. Communication was clear right up to completion day and the key handover was smooth. Happy to recommend them.

23rd Jul 2026 (27 days ago)All those I dealt with at Robinson Jackson, Northumberland Heath were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. They kept me informed of all viewings and feedback thereafter. I definitely felt I was in good , expert hands throughout this process.

21st May 2026 (13 weeks ago)Adam was helpful and gentle with my aging mother. They wanted quicker viewing dates from her but she couldn't manage to give dates right when they asked. They did line up viewings to suit her needs and came to accompany the viewers.

19th Jul 2026 (4 weeks ago)I’m genuinely surprised I’m giving this estate agent any rating at all.<br><br>I want to start by saying that Pete was excellent. From the very beginning, he was professional, approachable, and genuinely helpful. He consistently answered all of our questions clearly and patiently, no matter how small, and made sure we always understood what was happening at each stage. He kept communication flowing both ways, regularly updating us and ensuring we were kept in the loop, which made a huge difference. When things slowed down, he reassured us and made it clear that it was out of our hands, which helped reduce a lot of the stress and uncertainty. He made what is already a stressful process feel much more manageable, and he is the only reason this review isn’t even lower.<br><br>Unfortunately, once Mark took over, the experience changed completely.<br><br>Towards the end of the purchase, I felt under constant pressure to exchange contracts immediately. It wasn’t the decision itself that felt rushed — I was always going to buy the property — but there were important final steps that needed to be completed first, including last-minute financial checks that my solicitors needed time to look into. Despite this, Mark was unwilling to wait.<br><br>Rather than offering support or explaining the situation calmly, he spoke to me in a rude, dismissive, and confrontational tone. He repeatedly made it seem as though the seller was going to pull out unless I exchanged there and then, and even went as far as saying that the vendor was a former estate agent and that if I didn’t exchange immediately, it wouldn’t make much difference to them. This felt like a clear attempt to pressure me into rushing something that required proper due diligence.<br><br>Whether that was genuinely the seller’s position or not, it felt like I was being pushed into making one of the biggest financial decisions of my life without being given the space to ensure everything was in place.<br><br>That conversation left me in tears. Buying a home should be an exciting milestone, but instead I was left feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and intimidated. No buyer should be made to feel that way.<br><br>The whole interaction came across as though the priority was getting the sale completed as quickly as possible rather than ensuring both parties were comfortable and informed. It gave the impression that getting the deal over the line was more important than providing good customer service, and it made me question whether unnecessary pressure was being used to speed up the exchange.<br><br>To make matters worse, the experience didn’t improve on completion day. After receiving a call to collect the keys, we arrived at the office expecting at least a warm welcome after months of dealing with the purchase. Instead, there was simply a single key left in an envelope on the reception desk, and we were told, “It’s there on the desk.” There was no congratulations, no greeting, no effort to make what should have been a memorable moment feel special. Mark, who had called us to collect the keys, was nowhere to be seen. It perfectly summed up the level of customer service we experienced by the end of the process.<br><br>In the end, we got the house we wanted, and that’s what matters most. However, the service we received during the final stages was genuinely terrible and added a huge amount of unnecessary stress to an already stressful process.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not recommend this estate agent. If it hadn’t been for Pete’s professionalism at the start, this review would have been half a star without hesitation.

3rd Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)Excellent estate agent.<br><br>They have recently sold my house in Shirley Park and I also brought my new home in Old Coulsdon. I can not fault them. I was lucky to find a buyer very quickly but as usual the buying process was slow, but all the way through Craig would regularly check in with me on both the purchase and sale.<br><br>I found everybody that worked there to be first class and very helpful.<br><br>I would definitely recommend them.<br><br>Thanks Craig and Lee, looking forward to having you back for a valuation once I’ve done all my planned works
30th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)We rented this house from them on a one-year contract. However, the house became too small for our needs, so we informed them that we wanted to move out. When the time came to leave the property, we cleaned the entire house thoroughly and handed it back in excellent condition. so we cleaned and improved everything ourselves. We paid the full deposit of £2,000 Before leaving, we thoroughly cleaned the entire property and made sure everything was spotless. We even sent them proof of the cleaning. Despite this, they unfairly kept our deposit. We made many requests and tried to resolve the issue, but nobody listened and no action was taken. So please be careful and avoid dealing with them. They are complete scammers.

During the rental process, he was a wonderful bridge between us and the landlord, and we were able to complete the rental procedures quickly. Additionally, his communication style was always very polite and understanding. I would like to thank him here as well.

Given the positive experience, we also chose Alex from SoH to bring our existing home on the market. Alex managed to find us great buyers within a few days. The entire process from taking marketing photos to completion took less than 2 months and had zero hiccups. From a buyer's and a seller's perspective, Alex was incredibly hard working and we very much appreciated that he always accommodated viewings & meetings on weekends and late evenings!

In particular, Isobel was outstanding - she was incredibly friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. She kept us well informed throughout the process and genuinely made us feel like a priority from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend her and the team highly enough.

Not only did I get a brilliant walkthrough of the property, but he also told me about the history of the property and what the landlords are like. He even went as far as googling things in real time to provide me with the information I was looking for. Top Lad.

He helped us navigate the purchase, and kept us up-to-date along the way. Hussein was incredibly accommodating, and made sure he was available whenever needed.
