True experts of the local market and honest advice. We have appreciated the great communication throughout the process. Would highly recommend.
16th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Ameded from five stars to one. After the tenancy ended it is impossible to get the deposit back from the agency. There isn't even a dispute, they are unresponsive and in nerly two months since the contract expired have done nothing except forwarding one email from the landlord. Everything else is me chasing them without any results. I have never waited this long and I am still waiting with zero support or ownership from them. Demoralising, best avoid. Original review below: Great experience renting with Dockside, professional, tailored and effective. Deepak has been great throughout the whole process.

We are very grateful for their on-going support for or school community.

Passive aggressive and rude and also the adverts for 0 deposit aren’t true and they force you to take out a guarantor service even though you meet or exceed salary requirements for a place. Bola Needs a serious attitude check, he should be embarrassed about the way he’s running this business, extremely disappointed by management team

I am especially thankful for the help and assistance from Kira in managing my flat. Always so helpful and she always comes up with a plan to deal with any issues that arise. Very happy with their services
4th Mar 2021 (5 years ago)We had our flat on the market with Dexter's for the exclusivity period. During that time we were passed between 3 contacts at Dexter's. The first agent left within a week or two of taking our property on, put little effort into the marketing of the property resulting in a poor advert and poor viewings. The second agent was much better, rectified many mistakes and did find us a buyer. The buyer sadly pulled out, but by this point the second agent at Dexter's had also moved on. It took 3 days for us to hear of the news of the buyer falling through and a further week for the agent to actually make any contact with us. We found out the buyer had pulled out from our estate agent from the property we were purchasing calling our solicitors and asking for an update. Dexter's in my opinion were an appalling service. We put out flat on the market with another agent and had a brilliant offer, from a truly lovely couple within a few weeks. I wish I'd gone with the data in GetAgent in the first place, rather than going on gut feel. When we bought our flat it was with Dexter's and we got the impression that they were relationship people, however, it turns out they act in the interest of the buyer not the seller.
12th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Service was amazing, highly recommend these estate agents. Mike Driver, the branch manager, was great from start to finish. We appreciated his honesty, transparency, and his willingness to go above and beyond. He helped us chase the vendor's solicitors and was responsive over the phone. The staff were also very helpful and lovely, taking great notes and collaborating with each other well. I highly recommend, and will look to contact them again if we are in the market again. P.s. this was a review I gave in July 2021, but didnt get published!!

Avoid this dodgy company.- 28th May 2026 (30 days ago)SLM has been my Lettings Agent for many years. I never had a problem with tenants. It is a family business. Clients have a personal relationship with SLM. It starts with availability, reactivity and transparency. Each time I contacted SLM for a problem, a question, or documentation request, I had someone to talk to, immediatly or during the day. When one has properties under management in London, problems occur regularly. Within the frame of the law, SLM has always shown flexibility, adaptability and creativity at solving problems. 5 stars for David

22nd Jun 2026 (5 days ago)Very poor experience from start to finish. I called on Saturday and was told they would check with the current tenants and arrange a viewing. They booked me in for 15:00, but when I called to confirm they went silent and stopped responding.<br><br>I chased again on Monday and they rearranged the viewing for 13:15. I arrived at 13:17. As I pulled up in my car the agent was already leaving, and we made eye contact. It was obvious I was there for the property, yet he carried on walking off, later claiming he assumed I wasn't coming. He couldn't wait even two minutes. When he finally came back to show me the property, he was abrupt, barely spoke to me, and gave the impression he had no interest in showing it at all.<br><br>When I asked about any flexibility on the rent, he told me he already had four other offers, all at the full asking price of £1,375, and that all four had already paid deposits.<br><br>Afterwards I messaged to ask about the council tax and to let them know I liked the property and wanted to put in an offer. Again, no reply. They simply ghosted me.<br><br>A complete lack of basic customer service and common courtesy. I would not recommend dealing with this agency.

During the rental process, he was a wonderful bridge between us and the landlord, and we were able to complete the rental procedures quickly. Additionally, his communication style was always very polite and understanding. I would like to thank him here as well.
19th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)We bought a house which was marketed by SoH in South London and were very happy with the entire process. Given the positive experience, we also chose Alex from SoH to bring our existing home on the market. Alex managed to find us great buyers within a few days. The entire process from taking marketing photos to completion took less than 2 months and had zero hiccups. From a buyer's and a seller's perspective, Alex was incredibly hard working and we very much appreciated that he always accommodated viewings & meetings on weekends and late evenings!

His communication was excellent, and he always made sure we knew exactly what was happening and what to expect next.<br><br>He was consistently available with helpful advice that was practical, pragmatic, and based on a wealth of experience. Whenever we needed guidance, Simon always had a sensible perspective on the next steps and often shared valuable insights that helped us make informed decisions.<br><br>It’s clear that Simon knows the local area and property market exceptionally well, and that knowledge gave us great confidence throughout the sale. We genuinely felt we were in very safe hands from start to finish.<br><br>Both Simon and Laura were incredibly dedicated and responsive, whether during the week, in the evenings, or even at weekends.
