22nd Apr 2024 (8 days ago)My partner and I rented a flat in Fulham from Martin & Co in November. Though the flat had many issues to begin with that needed to be resolved, I am giving them 5 stars due to the tireless work of our property manager, Francesco Moretti, who swooped in and ensured everything was dealt with swiftly and easily (for us, not for him!), which involved him constantly emailing and calling the council on our behalf, really advocating for us, all the while keeping us updated and making us feel heard. These issues did get resolved thanks to his work, and we are now really settling into our flat. I have rented a lot in London and know what a pain it can be to deal with distant landlords/property managers, but this could not have been farther from our experience with Francesco. Would 100% rent from them again due to this experience!

5th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)Jo Godfray showed me kindness. She went out of her way to pick me up from Waitrose in Ealing and drove me to the property for the viewing. She was personable and warm in her approach for which I was immensely grateful. She showed me around the property explaining minute details. Although I did not make an offer on that particular property I enjoyed meeting her and the viewing, After informing her that my son was interested in residing close to the Elizabeth line, she drove me around the back streets of the area to point out the location of the tube station and also a quiet park in the vicinity. I would definitely recommend Jo and also Gibbs Gillespie as a company. She sent me a lovely email this afternoon wishing my son and I well for securing the apartment in a lively neighbourhood. I was touched by her wishes. Thank you very much Jo.

Ultimately James "won the prize" however it has been a pleasure at all times dealing with both of them. They have been polite, considerate, and good at keeping us up to date on everything; and James was especially good at pushing through on our completion date and keeping us posted on the progress. I can highly recommend them.

He was really quick at responding to our emails and calls and made sure that we were kept updated every step of the way. He was so friendly, polite and understanding throughout the entire process and even when met with hurdles he dealt with things so professionally and made us feel at ease with each step of the process. 3rd Apr 2024 (27 days ago)Viewed a property and kept up to date with them had to chase them for an answer. I called back several times talked to people who apparently, didn't have a clue. Got an answer on my 5th call to be told they "unfortunately had accepted another offer. If I'd called sooner I'd of been accepted." ?????????.untrustworthy and a complete waste of time.
3rd Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)Im shocked at the level of lack professionalism disreguard of potential tennents aswell of lack of care. I arranged a viewing for saturday. Its a good job i called up to confirm and check the address. Turns out my viewing had been cancelled as property was gone. No one called me to update me. I would of been standing out side waiting in the rain and no one would of been coming. To add insult to the matter, when asked why i wasnt informed i was told there was 40-50 people viewing, they didnt have time to call so many people. The lack of care and whatever attidtude is some what concerning. So basicaly we dont care about letting you know you been cancelled. Leads me to wounder if they are the same with tennants. If something needs replacing or fixing will they even respond?

Looking for a place to rent in the current market isn’t the easiest process, but Huw Howell-Pryce has made it very smooth sailing, which I really appreciate and helped take some of the stress off for myself. Would definitely recommend!

18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
