I have been with Home Choice as a tenent for 6 years now. Wonderfull experience so far. Very professional and helpful team. Have no complains so far. Would recommend them strongly as letting agents.
I arranged an appointment to see the property for 6.00 then Dee turned up 7.30 with his friend. We accessed the property the electricity wasn't working. the rent was £1,050.00 per month the house was in a terrible state i asked if he would confirm that the property would be amended up to scratch as described on the website he replied yes but if you pay £50.00 a month more then I will do this to you standard! my reply was this is a managed property which clearly wasn't managed properly and you are asking me to pay up!! To which he smirked and told me i was asking too much for the moldy items to be replaced for the sagging flooring to be straightened for the broken cupboards to be repaired. He didn't have a clue about the property i had to view it it in dark. Awful! not to mention the giant rats that were scurrying along whilst i waited for the duo to arrive.
I would like to say a big thank you to the lettings team at Bairstow Eves in Barking , especially Mathew Cann who dealt with me regarding renting my property out, and also finding very good tenants.
I would highly recommend these guys and would be looking forward to dealing with them in the future for sure.
Called them for valuation for my house and they just gave the price on fone and didnt bother visiting the property... haart and payne and co atleast came and visited the property.
Visited a number of properties in the Royal Docks area with Madison Brook. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the redevelopment of the area.
Unfortunately, we did not find a suitable property through them but I would have no hesitation in using their services again.
Truly bad experience from start to finish. They made us an offer to buy our flat and offered below market value as it was a "quick cash sale to complete in 6-8 weeks". 4.5 months later and they have backed out of the sale! Cowboys who actually play with people's lives with their utter B.S! Avoid them like the plague and don't get caught up in all the hype
The staff in this office are extremely helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile.
Outstanding customer service, especially Amaal.
Would highly recommend them to anyone.
Without doubt the worst experience I have ever had with an estate agent. I was subjected to rude, controlling and wholly unprofessional behaviour. Most importantly be very careful when signing one of their estate agency agreements as they don’t allow for a 14 day cancellation period which is in breach of consumer law in this country. Also although they are a member of the Property Ombudsman Scheme they flagrantly break the code of practice that they are supposed to adhere too. My advice is steer well clear of this agency.
Very helpful and great service.
They really understood what I was looking for and used their market and area knowledge to open up options to me that I didn’t know I had. They were very kindly able to work around my busy schedule and arrange both viewings and a meeting with their mortgage advisor to suit me.
All staff that I met with were professional, friendly and able to answer all of my many many questions!
Awful agents who are deceitful and underhanded. We had the unfortunate experience of trying to put an offer on a house that they had listed, and it was a total nightmare.
Before going to view the property - they forced us to meet one of their slick haired cronies in their office, and then proceeded to try and bully us into using their services even while we repeatedly told them we had our own broker and solicitors. They tried to scare us into using their services by telling us “the vendor would really prefer to sell to someone who uses our services”... absolute bollocks! It was such a pathetic and sleazy attempt at strong arming people.
After this vulgar tactic, we persisted with the offer after being able to go and view the house, which they staged to have many people viewing at the same time (on purpose I imagine).
After viewing the house and putting an offer down, we were pushed into a bidding war by the agent who actually said “someone had put on £10k more” - which is completely illegal. After pushing our offer up by £35,000 we decided we would drop out of the sale and forget about the house - but only after asking for confirmation that the sleazy agent had in fact put forward every one of our offers as he is legally obliged to do. And to my utter lack of surprise, he had only come back to me with confirmation that he had put forward 2 of the 3 offers, and only by way of him writing that to me - not by way of transcript of receipted email.
We have since found a beautiful home to buy around 9 months after this horrible ordeal - and throughout those months of looking at around 50 houses we have seen a few that were listed with Kings Group - and made a firm decision that there is simply no chance we would ever put an offer down on a house listed by these criminals.
