Without Winkworth 'on my side', I might well have given up and taken the flat off the market. They always took my calls, always followed up, always got back to me - that made the difference.

29th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)FJL produced a very good brochure with nice photos but they suggested we reduce the asking price which they recommended in the beginning. They had the house on the market for 5 months but we never received an offer even when.price was reduced.

9th Dec 2025 (16 weeks ago)Andrew Lloyd Estates is a very small team managing more properties than they can realistically handle, and the service reflects that. Most of our enquiries took a very long time to resolve, and we constantly had to follow up just to get basic updates. If you don’t chase them, nothing happens — which becomes very exhausting over time. Communication is inconsistent and often unclear. There were long delays, missed calls, unanswered emails, and instances where it felt like our enquiries were simply ignored. Even serious issues — like a roof leak — were repeatedly postponed and never properly fixed during our 1.5-year tenancy. Promises should be taken lightly, because you will need to remind them many times before anything is completed. The moving-out process was similarly slow and confusing, and we had to follow up multiple times to get our deposit processed. There were also moments that felt unprofessional, like sudden mentions of potential rent increases (which didn’t happen in the end) or staff going on long annual leave without any out-of-office message. On the positive side, the flat itself was great and served as our first home in the UK. If you find a property you love and it doesn’t require much maintenance, it might work for you. But overall, the customer service was very mediocre and left us feeling frustrated and unsupported throughout the tenancy.

12th Mar 2026 (21 days ago)I am writing this behalf of my uncle because he doesn’t speak English last year he rented a flat from these people they all so speak Turkish so my uncle paid them admission fees which by law they don’t have the right to ask him for admission fees but they did why because my uncle doesn’t speak English and he’s only been in uk for one and half years and then they asked him for weeks rent 2 months deposit again buy law they can only ask 4 week’s and when he left the flat they only give his one moths rent back said to him we only had one month deposit of yours horrible people

17th Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)Absolutely terrible. I had the displeasure of renting with Spencer Munson from 2020 to 2023 and I am appalled at their service. Issues with our rented property was noted when we moved in, such as blown double glazing that needed to be fixed, but we never got that fixed in the entire 3 years. We needed ventilation in the bathroom and I chased them for 2 years to get an extractor fan fitted. We had contractor after contractor visit yet nothing was ever done because they couldn’t organise. We had one contractor come twice for the same thing! He was as confused as us and stated he sent his quote to them and never heard back till months later when he was asked to go and visit again! We ended up with horrid mould due to their negligence. Every time I would call or email I was told they were sorry for my wait and would check with management and call back. Yet I never ever got one call back!! I was sick and tired of chasing so I made them aware I would report them to the ombudsman and that is the only time I got a response! Even then, it took MONTHS to get an extractor fan and still nothing was done about the window. The boss himself came to our property because it had gone on so long. Originally he gave us a day and time and never showed. This happened twice which I can understand things happen, but he never attempted to call or email while we waited in. When he did arrive, he tried to tell us the property was so old it didn’t need an extractor fan. I brought my grandad around for this reason. He has been a builder all this life and knows the laws. The building is required by law to have some form of ventilation in the bathroom to combat the mould that was growing. The boss tried to give us the run around but it did not work. We decided to move out earlier this year as we were fed up of them and were given the option to self clean to a professional standard or pay for cleaners. We cleaned ourselves and I videoed the entire flat as proof, knowing what they were like. We spent 2 days scrubbing every inch, skirting boards, corners, lamps, oven, fridge, windows and it was spotless. We used their own checklist to make sure we had everything to their standard only to be told we would be charged £250 for a ‘further clean’ after moving out. So a waste of our time. Don’t give the option to self clean if you are going to charge for progressional cleaning regardless! My family friends helped who are actually CLEANERS, so when I say it was cleaned to a professional standard I mean it. We were then charged over £200 for ‘bathroom damages’. After probing into this I was told the ‘damage’ was a loose toilet roll holder that just needed tightening…and the seal on the shower door was coming apart. So they were wrongly charging us for wear and tear NOT damage. So £500 out of our deposit later we are finally out. Appalling management, morally wrong and from what I saw in 3 years, could not manage a property and keep them to a good standard. Avoid at all costs or be prepared to be spending your free time calling and chasing.

I have been very impressed with the way they communicated with me before and after each viewing. I have received the feedback from the potential buyer soon after the viewing and was kept updated from the start to the end.

When buying a place trust is very important and he was very personable, reassuring and professional, answering any questions and always getting back to me very quickly. The experience was way beyond the ‘standard’ estate agent approach. Would 100% recommend the agency and Louis in particular.

19th Jun 2025 (9 mo. ago)I want to raise serious concerns regarding our experience with Fine & Country during a recent property purchase. We found the agency’s conduct throughout the transaction to be deeply unprofessional. Key information was withheld, communication was evasive, and there appeared to be no regard for transparency or ethical standards. Rather than acting as honest brokers, they consistently acted in ways that undermined trust and fairness. We are now dealing with the legal and financial consequences of this experience — and I would strongly advise others to be extremely wary.

He goes above and beyond to find properties that match specific criteria, make viewings work within tight timeframes and is genuinely passionate about his job.
