20th Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)I’ve had the pleasure of working with Russell Simpson, and in particular Ali Carter, over a 14-year tenancy at Upper Cheyne Row in Chelsea and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the experience has been consistently professional, responsive, and genuinely collaborative. Ali has been a pleasure to deal with throughout, always approachable, efficient, and thoughtful in her communication. Over such a long tenancy, what stood out most was the level of trust, continuity, and mutual respect maintained on all sides. The recent end of tenancy process was handled seamlessly and in a very fair and constructive manner, which I greatly appreciated. It’s rare to find this level of service and consistency over such a long period, and I would not hesitate to recommend Ali and the wider Russell Simpson team to anyone looking for a high-quality, well-managed experience in Prime Central London. 18th Apr 2024 (2 years ago)I didn't have a perfect experience with Franklyn James in terms if number of viewings although they were quick to advertise the property and the listing was strong. The market was incredibly slow too so it's hard to say if any other agent would have performed better.

19th Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)Everytime I enquire about a property for sell this agent is advertising. The first question they ask is 'Do you have a property for sell'. They take all your personal details and at the end don't give a date for viewing. This happened on several occasions, I have now stopped enquiring. I believe this is a fishing tactic to get peoples information and if they can find a person who is looking to sell. I would not ever buy or sell a property through them.

22nd Jan 2026 (22 weeks ago)I met with George Mayhew for a second visit on this property he was really helpful and went through queries I had on site. Very helpful on both viewings I had with him. We now have a new tenancy in the area we wanted due to the great communication and speed of setting up visits for the family.

30th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)Unfortunately, this is not very reliable for several reasons. After using this real estate for a few years and even with some problems in the property. After leaving the house for 4 years waiting for them to remove me from the contract, they didn't do it. Given this, it is for several times getting in touch and solving this situation they did not do it cordially. Emails that are not even answered, calls with yes and no. It is unfortunate because professionalism in any area is very important as well as the responsibility of tenant and agency (since the landlord gives the agency responsibility) and regrettable to have to make this comment because respect is following the law is something they do not do. Remembering that at the time of covid the government imitated a statement about tenant vs landlord in which the rents were paid in full and as an example I always did it in full because I didn't think it was right. Honestly, they have to review the owner who works and deals with the good tenants, not to disassemble the deceased is a lack of professionalism. In addition, after leaving the house they still try to accuse of leaving the house in a miserable state in which this did not even happen because from the beginning (private photos from the delivery of the key to the end of the contract). I don't recommend using this agency because it's not reliable

Our sale turned into a marathon lasting many months, but Joe’s persistence was the only reason we finally got over the line. While the process was often stalled by other parties, Joe remained proactive and stayed on top of the chain throughout. He was consistent, patient, and never lost momentum despite the delays. We really appreciated his steady communication and the fact that he stuck with us until the very end. Highly recommended if you need an agent who actually follows through.

14th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)The staff was always arranging viewings last minute and asking us to do the viewings twice on a late Saturday afternoon nas Sunday evening. There waa no mobile contact number to call easily. There was no extra effort to try amd sell the house beyond routine advertising. Once I withdrew the house from the market the manager who was calling me every daybto put the hous on the market did not even call or email me back personally. Just got a generic email from their parent company. Felt the whole approach was very impersonal.We know from other agents that our road is sought after and they get queries.. But Bairstowe did not seem to have much idea about what made our house and street an attractive prospect.
