Great place to live although sadly the social housing accommodate some people who don't seem to respect living in such a nice place which is a shame as theres plenty of decent families that would love to be placed here. Could also do with a pub.... Read more

On visiting Beaulieu Square development, we want to point out how rude, obstructive and dismissive your middle aged sales lady is. We came to view 4/5 bedroom houses today, with a view of part exchanging and from the sale of another property. The sales person had no interest in the conversation whatsoever as our property has been on the market with no buyers, that's why we came to Countryside, as per your information pack you sent to us. The reason she gave was that our property has been up for sale and it will be unsalable. This is contradictory to Countrysides policy and commitment. With regards to out second property, we informed your sales person that it's based in East London and has never been on the market. She was dismissive of the property saying that Countryside has no one to look or value the property. We find this totally confusing as Countryside is a nationwide house builder and the fact that you are building houses/apartments in Becontree Heath we are totally bemused.
We came away from Countrysides marketing suite totally angry and annoyed at the way we were treated, as we were ready to invest in one of your properties, but obviously your so called sales person could not be bothered with us.... Read more

It's a big new housing development on the outskirts of Chelmsford that is still being built. It also has its own small selection of shops and takeaways and they are currently building a school. It has good links to major roads and there are plans for a train station. There are sculptures dotted about the area which are a nice touch and most houses look nice. Unfortunately like many estates some of the houses are neglected, spoiling the area.... Read more

This is just about the most beautiful housing development I've ever seen. The landscaping is stunning (plants, lakes, statues, carvings ... including carved owls, a life-size wooden statue of Henry VIII), and the deer logo sculpture is nothing short of breathtaking. All this without mentioning the houses, which are imaginative and superbly thought-through. The development features un-busy roads, a local coffee shop, free transport to the station, a well-stocked supermarket, a doctor's and dentist's surgery, and a school complex on the way, which all go to make Beaulieu THE place to live and feel marvellous. BRAVO!... Read more

An interesting mixture of ultra modern and traditional style housing being built on former farmland around the New Hall School. Apparently there are plans for over 3,000 new homes, extensive parkland, a primary and secondary school, new supermarket, shops and a train station. With the current housing shortage, this seems like a great idea to me.... Read more

Modern housing estate. Plenty of green areas. Lack of visitors parking. Often resedental street parking doesn't allow enough space for other vehicles to navigate around them. Houses modern looking and some very desirable in appearance. But not alot of space between houses. Beautiful gardens being professionally maintained.... Read more
