From start to finish CPH Scarborough has been great, I have been dealing with Jonny and Emma who have both been simply amazing efficient and professional. The whole process to rent a property was simple and really well organized. Jonny and Emma had all the answers for me and reacted very quickly when I have had an issue with the property. Terrible experience, I was the first person to view a property, 'to let' thus posted a letter a day after the viewing directly to the office .
The 'application form thus additional information', I was told the premise I was interested in had only just gone live. 'Friday'. Monday I recieved a call from a assistant who was quite un- prof, and said , no, my application was not successful.
That the owner as chosen some one else. No explanation, just a abrupt no by a male member of staff called Johny.
I fail to believe the process was sufficent time for all the applicants to be discussed with the owner who was not present.
I advice to be cautious of this company, who seem to praise themselves as a high standard.

We bought our forever home through CPH, I found Kieron forceful and manipulating throughout the buying process. After speaking with him on one occasion, I advised we were attending a family funeral the following day and asked not to be contacted, Kieron called me and when asked what he wanted he didn't have an answer, which I found strange especially as he had been asked not to call that day. We were not informed that the property was subject to probate. The sellers advised us they were not happy with service they were receiving and things were not being relayed accurately between us and them, they even put another property on the market and didn't choose CPH!
The icing on the cake, which summed up the service we had received throughout, was collecting our keys from the office in a freezer bag with the address scrawled on a post it note from Northern Gas. If I could of given zero I would.

We have moved 7 times since first arriving in Scarborough 14 years ago. tried a couple of estate agents but would recommend CPH for their honesty, reliability, appraisals and overall efficiency. Lots of properties covering all requirements. Advertise in local papers, shop window and nationally with Rightmove. Always prompt with valuations, extremely presentable and photos/brochures are 1st class. Extremely quick and efficient with advertising their properties and very informative information. Clients are allocated a member of staff to answer any questions regarding their sales and purchase and keep their clients well informed at all stages. They remove the stress and strains of selling and buying and negotiate on your behalf. A very pleasant, on the ball firm of estate agents and a credit to the profession. We are on the move again to the other side of the country and CPH are in constant touch with the other parties estate agents and the buyers of our property. Added to which we have negotiated on fees which were very reasonable to start with.
Update 30 Oct 2021
Dear Phil and Joe,
Arranged a viewing for 3pm and arrived with 7 mins to spare. However, a couple were looking in the property, another couple were waiting outside. They were booked for 2.45pm and said that the viewings were running late, something to do with traffic we accepted that. Another coupled arrived and when told that viewings were behind the woman said they had another viewing and would be late for that one. The agent said OK you can all come in and view. (Open house!). Not acceptable. We like time to view, discuss any issues and have a proper look The 2.45 then said take our place,we have nothing to do today. so the couple booked in after us took priority without us being consulted. When they left the 2.45 couple went in even though they had given up their slot. we waited unti 3.25 and by this time were completely fed up and depressed .by the disorganised viewings and lack of consultation. I emailed CPH and told them how disappointed we were but to add insult to injury they phoned 2 days later and asked for our feedback on the property. Obviously, they had not bothered to read the email or ignored it. Sorry, but I am so very upset by the actions of what we considered to be the No 1 estate agents in Scarborough and expected better even in the current market!
As a matter of fact we also had other viewings one of which we had to cancel.

Extremely disappointed with cph time and time again. Had issues contacted them about it they where rude and very unhelpful. Then we went to see a house. After the agent turning up late, she just sat in her car for 10 minutes while we were waiting outside the house freezing. Then was disgusted to find that they had used old pictures for the house. Was appalled at the state it was in when we got in. Looked nothing like the pictures. If thye had bothered to put up to date pictures we would have never have wasted our time with the hole. So thanks for wasting all of our time. Will never use cph again and recommend you do the same. Been through several estate agents in my time these are by far the worst about!

We recently bought a house that was on the market with CPH and Liam was fabulous. I rarely leave reviews for anything , but after the service we have received from Liam at Cph I feel like I need to leave one! Liam not only found us our lovely home , after we had told him what we were looking for, he then ensured, from the very start, the smoothest transition for us to move into the house. From putting the offer in , to getting the keys , it had been only six weeks! This was due to Liam’s professionalism , commitment and communication within the whole chain of people involved, including the estate agents we were selling with and the solicitors. If it hadn’t of been for Liam chasing everyone else’s work up, we would still be waiting for the keys! After dealing with some rather rude and unprofessional estate agents whilst looking for our house over the last three months, I would highly recommend Liam and the rest of Cph to anyone . What a Lovely , friendly , professional bunch of people . And I can’t thank Liam enough.

Huge thanks to Dionne from CPH for the amazing job she has done for us in finding a new home. She kept us updated along our search if any new properties came onto the market, and made sure we saw them asap. Once she had found the one we went in to buy, she liaised with the vendor and all solicitors and went above and beyond to make sure we completed when we needed to, which meant we were able to get in before Christmas with time spare for a Christmas tree to be up. Many many thanks again. Would highly recommend using CPH but especially Dionne.

Excellent service. Very professional and focused.We were in a chain selling in Washington and buying vacant possession in Scarborough. Liam our Sales negotiatior certainly went the extra mile he kept us informed regularly about progress on both the sale and the purchase. His ability to keep us informed was unbelievable better than the estate agents in Washington! He chased the exchange of contracts while everyone else just didnt seem to be motivated. If you are looking for an Estate Agents use CPH and you will not be disappointed.
