AVOID!???????? Every single issue I have raised is not resolved until landlord gives go ahead, that's normal but they have allowed me to go without heating for weeks, a hob for a month, fence came down and open to public for 6 months. All with a young child.... Read more

To begin with, the estate agents seemed really professional, friendly and were quick at responding! The evening that we went to view the property, they updated the property to ‘let agreed’, after ‘working’ hours. When I phoned Jordan the next day, he reassured me that the property was still available and that they still had viewings that same day. I am starting to doubt that this was ever true. A few days later, I received an email offering me the flat! We were so happy and excited but the very next day I received an email at 9:49 telling me that they had reviewed our bank statements and that they were not able to continue with letting us the flat. At 11:39 I phoned back only to be told that they had already let the flat to somebody else. They failed to ask me what my financial situation was and whether I had any assets that I would be using to contribute towards the rent. The situation felt really planned and underhand, as if they already had another tenant lined up or as if they accidentally told us that our offer was accepted in the first place. Only after reflecting on the situation, I realised how unprofessional and disappointing this estate agents are. They are full of lies and deceit and are not sincere.... Read more

Avoid this Company at all costs. 4 times their tenants have flooded 2 flats below causing £30k + worth of damages and not once have they had the decency to apologise. The 2 affected flats have a key worker in one and an 85 year cancer patient in the other. There were 4 tenants in a one bed flat contravening tenancy rules. 2 were removed but 1 has moved back in so still contravening tenancy rules. Because they are receiving rent they have no interest in what the tenants are up to. The lady that owns the flat lives in Spain and has not made any contact either. A sham of a Company and if you are looking to let your flat, avoid these at all costs.... Read more

I have nothing but positive feedback for Northwoods. We moved into our home over a year and half ago and the whole rental process wasn’t stressful or anything it went really well. Since living here we had a few bits that needed sorting which like any home that can happen. Hi , Signed up with Northwood almost 2 years ago now . From the initial viewing to contract signing and basic maintenance and safety checks it has been nothing but a pleasure dealing with them . The staff are very knowledgable and understanding , usually replying same day and eager to sort issues ASAP . In particular Angela in the office is outstanding and nothing is too much trouble for her and she will make sure things are sorted . SIMPLY HORRIFIC. I still doubt the owner is qualified in what they are doing. I never saw my landlady after three years of living at the property, but from conversation she was very rude. After leaving, it took nearly two months to receive back my deposit (which we already had issues with in the first place as they wanted to literally give us nothing back) all because they didn't forward my details to the DPS, it was all unnecessary stress that was not needed and shouldn't have been my job to chase up and call nearly every day.... If I could give zero stars I would, myself and partner were both looking for a property found a studio flat we informed them of our wages and they seemed happy we could afford it, they took our deposit money they told us AFTER that they feel we wouldn't be suitable pulled out from the deal and they refused to give our money back well that was £200 down the drain, would highly avoid bunch on con artists!... Having rented for 10 years this was the worst experience I had encountered (and expensive). The fee's were unjustified and in some cases a literal joke. I had to pay for my wife to be credit checked and referenced.... neither of which happened as she did not work, but was still charged in the region of £200. I could not fault the property, just a shame it was managed by a business which had no concept of customer service and 'tells you' as opposed to works with logic and common sense. For sure the worst estate agents I have dealt with, but in the market you can't choose you agent, you choose the property, just be prepared to pay the price as these guys know how to charge a fee, as well as this if you question anything, don't expect a reasonable response, I was blown away by the aggression, complete lack of common sense and customer service by the agent managing our property.... Northwood provide the best service for landlords like myself who live over sea. The saying 'let and then forget' defiantly lives by it's name with this agent. Guaranteed rent was the best choice I made when deciding to let my property. The guaranteed rent scheme was explained to me in full detail by the director and he really made me feel reassured that my property would be kept in the condition of the way I require it to be. I feel that my property is safe and taken care of with this agent. No landlord likes to spend more money than they have to, but I'm always notified straight away of any maintenance issues that need to be carried. She was also great in showing us other houses before we made our decision. She was always professional and punctual without being too pushy as most other estate agents are.
