Horrible estate agency. Stay away at all costs.. I am a tenant renting via this agency no checks were done at the start of tenancy basic things like hot water and appliances were not checked. Extremely lazy management don't reply to complains and decides to ignore messages. WORST estate agency in London extremely incompetent people, they don't care about the tenant problems. Have been emailing them since 2 months still they haven't managed to send anyone to look at the maintainance issues.... Read more

If I could give a quarter of a STAR that wouldn't even be adequate to describe Outlet Real Estate A total disaster from start to finish. Unprofessional and incompetent with every interaction with Outlet was painful. They are useless when it comes to reporting problems with the flat you rent from them. Renting through this agency will be the biggest mistake you make !. Avoid them at all cost they are probably the worst letting agency in London.... Read more

I've rented through 4 different agencies in the last 6 years and Outlet are by far the worst! They were quick to respond to any issues before we started the tenancy, but as soon as they received the deposit money it all went downhill. They asked us to go to their office twice to produce the same documentation as they'd lost copies of our passports (which they later found). We had a broken window for the first 3 months of our tenancy, which was only fixed after we'd gone to Citizen's Advice. When we lost a key fob to our building, they asked us to speak to other tenants as they didn't even know how to get a replacement. They constantly ignored emails and blame it on the landlord, but when there's an issue they'll bombard you with calls. In the last month of our tenancy, we also had a text from the lettings agent who said he'd arranged a viewing that afternoon (giving us about 2 hours' notice) and when we didn't reply, he simply turned up and let himself in to the flat! I assume he knew it's a legal requirement to give us 24 hours' notice, as when he walked in and saw us he kept saying "sorry, I didn't think you'd be home". The "Management Team" are useless at best and (unless you like constant stress and uphill struggles) I'd advise going anywhere but here for a property.... Read more

I am a professional landlord and to my great regret gave Outlet 2 of my properties to manage. A total disaster from start to finish. Unprofessional and incompetent every interaction with Outlet was painful. To add insult to injury they are outrageously over prices and their service useless. Using this agency was the biggest mistake I have made in 20 years in the business. Avoid them at all cost they are probably the worst letting agency in London.... Read more

I have been a tenant in an outlet managed property for nearly a year now. They are at best lazy, although completely incompetent more accurately describes how things are run. They pick and choose when to respond to emails and when we as tenants try to email them they often take weeks to reapond, even with time sensitive issues such as changing the name on a tenancy agreement. However, when they want a response from us they get arsey and send multiple emails if we don't respond immediately. They also tried to increase our rent part way through a fixed one year tenancy agreement and it was only when we pointed out the clause in our contract which stated they couldn't do that and referred to the government regulations on private letting, that they agreed to keep the rent at the same rate. If at all possible, avoid using Outlet!... Read more

Cannot understand how this place has so many good reviews. They let us down one day before we were supposed to move in and four days before we had to be out of our current place. They offered me and my boyfriend a flat. The agent told us we had secured the place and sent us an e-mail of this conformation. One day before we were supposed to be moving in, the agent sent me a text message and told us, sorry you've failed referencing ! I'd asked him about referencing before-hand and he just assured us the place is ours. I confronted the direct manager at the office. I had to go there because they would not answer my calls or messages. No apology, no help or empathy whatsoever. This created a considerable amount of stress, looking for somewhere to live within four days. Honestly, I just wouldn't go there, and I find Joshua's response below insulting. In hindsight, judging by another negative review, the truth of the matter is they probably gave it to someone who was offering them more money. Which is obviously completely careless and unprofessional after they had accepted, unconditionally, our offer and especially considering their timing.... Read more

Michelle Jones from Outlet told me my offer on a studio purchase was accepted on a Tuesday and went back on the agreement by Friday because they were using my offer as a bargaining chip. I understand this can happen before a acceptance but I have never heard of it happening after the memo of sale is already issued. They gave me a poorly covered lie about a cash offer coming out of nowhere. To the cash buyer of the studio at 19 Hanson Street, W1W 6TL. The flat is all yours I have withdrawn my offer. Please be careful when dealing with Outlet as they might do the same as they did to me and try to extort more money. Maybe give them a taste of their own medicine and lower the bid before the exchange. Either case the flat is overpriced and was languishing in the market for 3 months before I came along. Then, when they eventually carried out the reference one day before, told us that we had failed via text message. I confronted the direct manager at the office. No apology, no help or empathy whatsoever. We thought as a "gay friendly" agency we where in good hands. However, they misled us and wasted our time when we could have been looking for another place. Honestly, I just wouldn't go there. As for Joshua's response which is insulting. We have failed referencing many times before and I fully understand the process.
