They guided me through each stage clearly, answered all of my questions patiently, and made the whole process much easier and less stressful.<br><br>I particularly appreciated the attention they gave to my requests and the way they communicated with both myself and the landlord. Their support, follow-up, and willingness to help gave me a great deal of confidence throughout the tenancy application and move-in process.<br><br>I am very grateful for the excellent service I received and would be very happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and supportive letting agent.<br><br>A truly positive experience from start to finish. 14th Aug 2026 (8 weeks ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

26th Sep 2026 (13 days ago)I attended the viewing of a beautifully kept flat, accompanied and guided by Mark, who I believe is one of the most professional representatives in the field. He presented the place very well, elaborating about all facilities, and even mentioning the couple of shortcomings, so as not to deceive us in anyway. This, I found was quite brilliant and transparent. Woodhouse estates even did their best to secure us the place quite fast.<br><br>I would highly recommend them as agents and would personally leave a thank you note to Mark for his brilliant cooperation. I do hope we can carry on contracts with Woodhouse estates in the future.

5th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)Amazingly bad service We rented a complete owned property for just over 2 years. In that time we had about 5 property managers. This should say all you need to know. Each one not knowing what had gone on before. Given the fact a week before we thought we were moving in we had to chase them to find out nothing had moved forward and they were waiting on us to send documentation (we were not told). Throughout the 2 years they were never really there to help you. After we have left they have tried to keep around 75% of our deposit which is absolutely insane. Missing furniture that never existed in the first place, the most expensive cleaning quote imaginable and £50 to remove a single chair. These are some of the excuses on the quote. Try and avoid complete properties when possible!!

23rd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)Dear TAUK Management Team.<br>I am writing to formally log a serious complaint regarding the highly unprofessional conduct and poor customer service I experienced with one of your partner agents Thomas Montclair,last week.<br>As a motivated buyer, I contacted your office to arrange a viewing for a bungalow currently listed with your agency in Southampton.<br>My experience was as follows:<br>After several unreturned calls to Mr Montclair spanning over three hours, I was required to contact his colleague, Sarah, to request assistance.<br>When Mr Montclair eventually responded via text message, the justification given for the delay was highly informal and unprofessional for a business context.<br>When I eventually spoke with Mr Montclair and asked a standard question had anyone died in the property his response was immediately dismissive and defensive and you are not going to but the bungalow.<br>Despite my reassurances that my query was not a deal-breaker but I would like to know the answer Mr Montclair became explicitly rude and abrupt.<br>Refusal of Service and Interpersonal Misconduct: When I attempted to de-escalate the situation by suggesting we had gotten off on the wrong foot, Mr Montclair made several personal, derogatory remarks about my character, saying I was condesending and confrontational.<br>He then abruptly terminated the call after stating that he chose who he did business with because it was his company.<br>Following this, multiple attempts were made by myself, a family friend, and my husband to reopen communication and mediate the situation constructively. Mr Montclair has entirely ignored all subsequent voicemails and phone calls.As a self-employed personal agent representing the TAUK brand, Mr Montclair’s behavior actively misrepresents your network’s standards of client care. His refusal to engage with a genuine buyer directly contradicts the best interests of your client—the vendor selling the property.I request that this matter be investigated internally and that a representative from management contacts me to discuss how this will be rectified.Yours sincerely.<br>Mr & Mrs Cappleman,
