30th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)Based on my personal experience, I would encourage landlords to exercise caution when considering this agent.<br><br>In my case, I have had to commence legal proceedings after rent was collected from my tenant but was not passed on to me.<br><br>Despite several reminders, I have not received the outstanding rent. I have also experienced delays in receiving rental statements and found communication regarding property management to be disappointing.<br><br>Overall, my experience with communication and customer service has fallen well below my expectations, and I no longer have confidence in the current management.<br><br>I would recommend that anyone considering this agent carries out thorough due diligence before making a decision and also considers other reputable letting agents with a strong track record.

John's initial consulation and valuation of my property was conducted with honesty openess and enthusiasum, with exception local and market knowledge.<br><br>Once we took the decision to list the property, Coultons moved quickly to get excellent pictures and create a fantastic listing. The bookings for viewings were delp with professionaly and flexibly, and we enjoyed a sale of the property to a excellent prospective buyer represented by Euan who always represented the interests and requirements of both sides of the transaction.<br><br>Throughout the conveyancing process, John and the team were very proactive and responsive to ensure the process kept moving ahead. If we required advice, John and Euan were quick to respond with honest feedback and excellet knowledge.<br><br>Upon exchange - Coultons were quick to present their readyness to all sides of the chain ensuring that exchnage took place smoothly.<br><br>I would highly reccomend John, Euan and the Coultons team to anyone looking at buying or selling a property in thier services areas.

I recently asked Sam Levy if it was possible to put a railing at the entrance to Talbot Skyline. It was done in days which is very impressive and very much appreciated. A shout out to Sam for his prompt reaction to my request.

27th Jan 2026 (7 mo. ago)If I could give no stars I would. Will, who said he was the manager of the two Hackney branches, really could not manage a rice pudding. He was enthusiastic until the sale was agreed and then didn't want to bother with any communicating thereafter. He gave the clear impression that he just needed to sit back, do nothing more and wait for the commission to role. He gave clear indications that he did not have time to try and help progress the sale because he was too busy trying to make other property sales. I came away with the definite idea that Dexters work on agreeing as many sales as they possibly can and then do nothing thereafter and keep their fingers crossed that the sale completes. They work on quantity of sales and not quality of service. What Will does not take into account is that buying and selling is very stressful for the buyers and sellers and part of the agents job should be to be very active in progressing the sale and keeping in communication with other agents and the buyers and sellers until the sale is complete. Avoid listing your property for sale with Dexters to avoid disappointment.

We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with the two of them throughout the whole process. We were kept informed, at every stage, as to where we were & what should be happening next. They were also very proactive concerning both the buyers & our solicitors when & as required. It has been fantastic to find two highly motivated people where nothing seemed too much trouble. Syede was amazing from the first point of contact, his replies were fast and he was even able to come to value the house as quick as the next day.<br><br>He was very informative, easy to speak to and clearly showed his experience and knowledge in the field through his professionlism and the manner in which he helped myself and my family.<br><br>I highly RECOMMEND this company. The valuation was sent to us with so much content and it was clear that alot of time was spent doing research which would help us in the long run.<br><br>Thanks again Cole Harding (Syede)

We were recommended BR by a friend, and from the very beginning Chris (and later Aidan) were an absolute breath of fresh air. Professional, personable, proactive and, importantly, realistic from the get-go.<br><br>We sold relatively quickly, but the sale itself became particularly stressful, and throughout the whole process both Chris and Aidan were incredibly supportive and always on hand when I needed them. They genuinely went above and beyond and made a difficult process that little bit easier.<br><br>I’m so glad we chose BR to sell our home and I honestly cannot recommend Chris and Aidan highly enough. If you’re looking for an estate agent who actually cares about their clients and the outcome, look no further!
