They were professional, supportive, and always kept me updated at every stage of the process. Their communication was excellent, and they were always approachable and helpful whenever I had questions. They made what can be a stressful process feel much smoother and more manageable. I really appreciate all their hard work and would happily recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property. 8th May 2026 (16 days ago)The worst estate agents in Birmingham. We are trying to buy a house which is with con.....nells. They didn't bother turning up to the house to show us around, the owner had to, and she's an old lady. Cons didn't call us to say the offer had been accepted we had to speak to the owner and now as we're near completion now they rang us to say the owner isn't happy and want to put the house on the market again. Unknown to the cons we had already spoken to the owner and told them and the owners were more than happy. Spoke to the sellers solicitors who said its a tactic used by cons to get more money from the sale. My solicitor than rang them and tore them a new one. How they think they can get way with this is astonishing, avoid connells at all cost whether your a buyer or seller.

To add, the lettings girls (Holly, Freya, and Megan) are also really kind and easy to speak with. They were really helpful and kind throughout the process and we are very grateful.
- 8th May 2026 (16 days ago)I’m not sure how they’ve had my review removed concerning 10 swan street. I lived there for 18 months, the bedroom ceiling was thick with black, dripping wet mould. I left the house to which they kept my deposit despite the circumstances they had me living in. I can now see its up for sale with pictures showing they’ve attempted to paint over the mould which you can still see. Jackie had a terrible attitude and any issues with the property they werent interested in.

She’s so welcoming and really quick at responding which made the process a lot easier. We had some queries around how the process was impacted by the new Renters Rights and she helped us to understand and amend this, even on her day off. The online form / application process was easy and straightforward to understand too ??????

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
