There were a couple of moments that got nervy in the process but Dino handled all sides so professionally that we all got through the purchase very happily. Highly recommend!

They have always been available to talk to and they have also helped me resolve issues in my flat by arranging for engineers on my behalf. Would definitely recommend them as agents as they are trustworthy, very good with the management of the property and transparent with fees and services.
27th Apr 2026 (27 days ago)I’d give 0 stars if I could, the staff are absolutely disgusting. Took over a month to get our deposit back and they are thieves the lot of them. Katie Edmond’s is the worst one with dealt with, wouldn’t reply for days when we had a question and even when she did end up replying she wouldn’t state all the facts. The only good worker there Tommy left. We were robbed of a good experience and if anyone ever is looking to private rent do NOT go with reed residental. £140 back from a £1000 deposit! When we moved in the place was awful but we had no money and needed a place to stay, we got told the fridge, washing machine and oven was a “gift” that “gift” was really just old tat that they didn’t want to have to pay to get rid of but we had to pay for all it to go because none of it worked. Don’t understand how the company is still allowed to be running but I definitely would not recommend to anyone moving into a property to use reed!!

21st May 2026 (3 days ago)Currently a majority way through the sale and buy process of our house and verythig has been going smoothly (??????). All thanks to the agents. The house was online very quick and our mortgage advisor yasmin has been very helpful and gave us so many ways to understand and choose the best option for me and my partner. Only reason it havent give a 5 star i did have to ring a couple times to get a message passed on. But everything else has gone well so far and the staff have been very friendly and helpful where they can.

I am a single parent and they really gave me the opportunity to succeed with this property, unlike other estate agents they didn't judge my circumstances instead they helped me. Everything was smooth no delays and they where so lovely throughout the whole process

8th May 2026 (16 days ago)Absolutely amazing service. The Great Barr branch was incredibly helpful with finding me my first property to buy. From arranging a viewing all the way through to completing the sale, Jamie and Nichola in particular was very efficient and always kept me updated. Even though I wasn’t always able to access them over the phone, whenever I came into the branch, the staff always made time to answer any queries or concerns I had. I even received a thoughtful package once I collected my new keys to my new home which added a nice touch! I highly recommend this estate agents

9th May 2026 (15 days ago)We used Hicks Hadley to sell mum’s house and we couldn’t be happier with the service that we received. John dealt with the initial marketing of the house and Charlotte and Claire have always been at the end of a phone if we’ve needed to speak to them. Unfortunately the house sale fell through initially due to our buyers buyer pulling out but it was quickly re marketed and we completed yesterday. All the staff at Hicks Hadley are so friendly, helpful, approachable and totally professional in all that they do. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and want to thank them for everything they’ve done.

During the buying process they were super helpful and kept everything moving at an excellent pace for both us and the seller. Highly recommend :)

2nd May 2026 (22 days ago)I was very impressed with the way Midlands Housing (Azaan) dealt with the sale of my property. The communication and the interactions was spot on. I didn't even need to go into the office., every communication we had was emails or messages. Credit to Mr Azaan for his continued effort and dedication to meet our goals. 6th May 2026 (18 days ago)The service provided by Manny Klarico from viewing all the way upto referencing and tenancy agreement help was exceptional. I want to particularly thank the lettings manager Callie Walker who was especially patient and very co operative throughout the whole process. She made things much easier and from the point of contact of viewing was particularly helpful. Could not have found our families beautiful home without her assistance. The admin and office was also very helpful - both Ali and Harry I believe!
8th May 2026 (16 days ago)I have been using Howkins and Harrison to manage my properties for approximately the last 10 years. Whilst I have always received a good service my recent experience has been outstanding. A cylinder fell off the wall in the airing cupboard damaging the main water tank and splitting a water pipe. This resulted in water escaping onto the landing coming through the downstairs ceilings, tripping the electrics in the house. The way Alison Edwards dealt with this was fantastic. As soon as she was aware, she attended the property to ensure the tenant was okay and the property safe. She contacted multiple contractors and within a couple of hours had a plumber and electrician on site. She made sensible decisions on our behalf, monitored the progress of the works being carried out over the 2 weeks it took to put everything right and kept us and the tenant updated throughout. We would like to thank her for the time and care she took and for how she treated the property as if it were her own. Thank you to the team at Howkins for the work they have done for us over the years and a massive thank you to Alison. You are a true star!
25th Nov 2025 (5 mo. ago)Our tenancy at 7 St. Edwards Road was extremely stressful. From the beginning, several maintenance and safety issues were reported and took months to be resolved. We even had a break-in while we were in the property, and no adequate security measures were put in place afterward. Communication with the agency—particularly with the representative who handled our case, Sunny Sandhu—was often unhelpful and dismissive. Requests for a revised contract after two tenants moved out were ignored, leaving us in a very unclear situation. The agency tried to withhold our entire deposit and add unreasonable cleaning charges, despite us leaving the property spotless and having photo evidence. Thankfully, the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) reviewed the case and returned our deposit after nearly three months. I would advise future tenants to keep detailed records, photos, and written communication if you decide to rent through this company. Transparency and professionalism were lacking in our experience.
20th May 2026 (4 days ago)At first I had afew different people contacting me when it would have been nice to deal with just one person but after me asking for some continuity the commnuication was great from them. I found everyone personable and eager to help sell my property. The photographer could have moved more personal belongings to make the pics look better and I would have done that but they had an equipment problem so had to go back the day after without me there. All minor things but they have done what I asked them to do and that is to sell it so I am more than happy.
