Was using their services for property purchase and I think they have done a good job during a busy period. I did not have any delays and was able to finalise everything and move in on the agreed date. Fees are similar to the rest of the market. They were clear on the documents I need to submit and once that was done it was all smooth sale from there. Just keep in mind that you need to be proactive too and get your insurance quotes in advance so that you can submit the application once they ask you to provide relevant reference for the insurer so the sale can proceed. Purdies provide a personalised and friendly service. On the legal side whenever we had particular questions solicitor partner Struan was quick to respond and answer. He provided sound and experienced professional steerage around various pitfalls in the flat-buying process. At a time when much conveyancing is done by non-lawyers with limited legal knowledge being able to engage with tricky legal matters was particularly valuable. On the estate agency side Nicky Douglas took care to find out telling details about our house to allow it to be marketed to best advantage. This combined with her experience and knowledge of the practice and psychology of selling allowed us to proceed soundly at every stage allaying any concerns we felt over what to do next. Purdies can do will do attitude shone through the week lockdown went ahead. Against all odds they concluded my home purchase and had it registered on the Thursday as scheduled.
