Matteo has been a great help, very responsive to emails and calls and even managed to assist with last minute emergencies which the buyer placed upon us in the last minute/days, but chaos was averted, thanks to matteo, professional, efficient and reliable. 17th Jul 2026 (9 days ago)Stonebridge was truly useless as an estate agent, and I had to remove them as my estate agents and use another. They gave me a high valuation initially to convince me to use them and then almost immediately tried to make me significantly drop the asking price. The advert they published had incorrect details and spelling mistakes, which I asked them repeatedly to correct and they never did. Even after dropping the asking price significantly, they did not schedule a single viewing in over 3 months. They promised regular communication and strategy advice which never happened. I had to repeatedly contact them for updates, which the majority of the time went unanswered and the rest of the time was completely useless. I cannot discourage anyone from using them enough.
15th Jul 2026 (11 days ago)My experience with Douglas Allen was extremely disappointing. My complaint relates to communication, transparency and the handling of my sale. I was not informed of important information regarding my buyer’s funding arrangements when I believe I should have been, and this resulted in significant stress, disruption and additional costs. After completing their complaints procedure, I have referred the matter to The Property Ombudsman for an independent review.
