As someone who tends to overthink and plan for every possibility, I really appreciated how they kept me in the loop with no delays and answered every call and question, no matter the time. The whole process went smoothly, and I found a lovely one-bedroom flat in exactly the area I was hoping for. Thank you!

He is straight forward, you can instantly tell there is no "waffle" and he is clearly knowledgable about the Bow area, especially the Bow Quarter. I hope he doesn't mind me saying he has the advantage of experience but this really stands him apart from some of the kids we have been dealing with that have obviously never bought or sold a flat themselves, highly recommended.

Benga, in particular, assisted us with everything; throughout the entire rental process, she answered every email we sent and addressed every question we had. She kept us informed about everything. 27th Aug 2026 (14 days ago)Anton has been friendly, professional and incredibly helpful throughout our new tenancy with John D Wood & Co. Estate Agents Richmond. He answered all our questions, kept us updated throughout and helped throughout the entire compliance process. He has made the whole experience smooth and straightforward.<br><br>In general our experience with this agency has been highly positive with a team full of friendly and helpful people from Jemma who helped with the viewing and Shiv who met with us in office on a Saturday to take down our information and help us find a rental property despite working in sales. As well as Lucy who helped organize the referencing and paperwork for us.

From the outset working with Seamus has been a very easy process - he intuitively understood our property & was extremely communicative & detailed re viewings & feedback & the handling of the post-offer admin has been exemplary. Reliable, honest, hard working & very personable - we feel very fortunate to have worked with you Seamus, thank you!
29th Apr 2026 (19 weeks ago)Saj and the rest of his team are con artists, absolutely disrespectful, rude and dishonest. He lied about the amenities in the newly built apartment we were renting, costing us time and money to fix the issues. We could not work from home for 3 months bc we couldn’t have WiFi over the 2 floors of the apartment. They would come for inspection and walk around in their shoes talking to us like we are some peasants, patronising us with every little thing and harassing us via emails. When we moved out they kept our deposit for “cleaning services” despite the flat being cleaned by us and didn’t provide any original receipts but their own made up invoice costing us 2/3 of our deposit and gave us back the remaining of it a whole year later. Overall our losses came to about £3k for renting a 4 bedroom apartment for only 14 months from them. Just a disgrace and you can see they are lying in your face openly and do not feel any guilt. Everyone who we dealt with was either ignorant, lying or rude especially Nicky and Saj.
5th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)Amazingly bad service We rented a complete owned property for just over 2 years. In that time we had about 5 property managers. This should say all you need to know. Each one not knowing what had gone on before. Given the fact a week before we thought we were moving in we had to chase them to find out nothing had moved forward and they were waiting on us to send documentation (we were not told). Throughout the 2 years they were never really there to help you. After we have left they have tried to keep around 75% of our deposit which is absolutely insane. Missing furniture that never existed in the first place, the most expensive cleaning quote imaginable and £50 to remove a single chair. These are some of the excuses on the quote. Try and avoid complete properties when possible!!

31st Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)We honestly couldn't have asked for a better estate agent to guide us through both the sale of our apartment and the purchase of our new family home.<br><br>It certainly wasn't the most straightforward sale and purchase, with plenty of challenges along the way, but from start to finish the whole team was professional, knowledgeable and incredibly supportive.<br><br>A special thank you has to go to Aaron, who was our main point of contact throughout. He was absolutely outstanding.<br>His communication was excellent, he was always available to answer our questions, he kept us updated every step of the way and was proactive in chasing things whenever progress stalled. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and his calm, reassuring approach made a huge difference during what could have been a very stressful process.<br><br>We are absolutely delighted with our new home and so grateful for everything Aaron and the team did to help us get here. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.<br><br>Thank you!

As we moved from Germany to London for the first time, the process of searching for a home and completing all the necessary paperwork initially felt quite daunting. However, McMahon made the entire experience smooth and straightforward. Our agent, Serwan, conducted a detailed viewing via video call, shared all relevant information upfront, and guided us seamlessly through the contract process. We were particularly impressed with: 1) The thoroughness and professionalism of the paperwork and inventory check conducted by McMahon, which ensured fairness for both the landlord and the tenant. 2) The prompt resolution of minor issues in the property by Louise, the residential manager, who was highly responsive and efficient. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with both the property and the service provided by McMahon & Partners, and we would highly recommend them.

15th Aug 2026 (26 days ago)I have used Paul Meakin for a good number of years both on Lettings and on Sales. Allison and Aimee have always been extremely helpful, caring and compassionate. They react to issues quickly, they give valuable advice and their experience shows all too clearly.<br>The same goes for the Sales Team. Sam, Gill and the team also have a wealth of experience. They were always at the end of the 'phone for queries big or small. I always felt reassured after speaking to them.<br>I highly recommend Paul Meakin.

They’re an independent business and it really shows — they’re completely different from the stereotypical estate agent. No hard sell, no nonsense, just genuinely lovely, normal people who actually care and go the extra mile.<br><br>They’ve been brilliant throughout both the rental and sale process, and it’s been a pleasure dealing with them.<br><br>Would 100% recommend Village Properties to anyone looking to rent or sell!

My only feedback would be regarding the website, as I personally find it quite difficult to navigate and a little unclear in places. It can sometimes feel a bit all over the place when trying to find particular information. I think a slightly simpler and more organised layout would make such a difference and make the overall experience much easier for potential tenants/buyers. Just some friendly constructive feedback as everything else seems great :)

Shanique took the time to truly understand our needs and, impressively, came up with feasible and well-matched options in a very short time. This made the entire experience not only efficient but genuinely enjoyable. What stood out most was how relaxed and comfortable the whole viewing process felt. Shanique wasn’t just showing us properties — she gave us a comprehensive understanding of the surrounding area as well. She thoughtfully introduced us to nearby facilities such as gyms, swimming pools, and other local amenities that are essential for our future lifestyle. Her attention to detail and local knowledge were outstanding and incredibly helpful. Overall, we felt very well taken care of and thoroughly impressed by her service.
