Reported on Saturday (23.3.24) immersion heater broken, no hot water, they couldn't help and wouldn't send anyone out. My house is just Electric, no Gas. Have got to phone back on Monday, to report it.48 hours without hot water for me and my son. TSG who I phoned did not want to know and handed me through to someone else, TSG are suppose to deal with gas, heating, etc. They were very rude on the phone. Not helpful or friendly at all. I have also reported this through the online portal today (Sunday 24.3.24) but will be calling tomorrow morning.... Read more

4 months and still no repair/replacement! I have had a break in at my property where the back door had been smashed in, back in first week of November 2023. Police involved and had contacted BPHA on my behalf. The door has simply boarded up. I have had 1 visit and the person went to measure the glass panel to be repaired and potentially the door to replace. This happened in late Jan after my follow up and chasing them. Since then there has been no contact, no updates. I have contacted once again end of Feb and still no response. Not only is it extremely cold in the ground floor, but there is also a breach of safety for my young daughter and myself. We had a fairly cold winter and spring, this is not fair that it is taking so long for any response let alone to get it resolved.... Read more

BPHAs response indicates that they may not have read my review at all. My review clearly implies that I am already in touch with them. Serious sound issues from the flat above, very poorly built structure. Would take relatively little action to sort it out but BPHA do not appear to recognise the devastating impact this continues to have on all aspects of my life. Communication is very infrequent and once I had to submit an official complaint to get a response about a long standing issue. There is no guidance online, no one to appeal to, just citizens advice and when I explain the situation to them it's just way over their head, and like most people in social housing I can't afford a lawyer.... Absolutely disgusted with bpha there the poorest show housing association in the whole country i feel like taking this to the newspapers I was falsely accused by my next door neighbours of ABH and common assault which I did not commit because the police did not I repeat did not press charges because I am an innocence peaceful man with a clean criminal record that is being framed that alone is defamation of character and all it was because of a dispute over parking and we wanted our parking space back that they stole from us a year ago so the neighbours made up false allegations about me to destroy my character with bpha and with the local community and now bpha are saying they will not help us with a urgent managed move because there was allegations made towards myself by the next door neighbours to the police if that’s not justice in the United Kingdom I don’t know what is we have contacted the local MP Mohammed Yasin and he has been very supportive towards are crisis we have had to endure by the sadistic next door neighbours but we will be taking this much much further because this is a neglect to human life... Dear bpha I have a leak in my roof. I can hear it dripping on to the ceiling of my daughters room. I moved into this property in October there was a water mark which I sent a photo in then of. the previous tenant assured me that the roof had been fixed like other repairs she claimed had been fixed. I am fed up having to go through reporting issues with this property. I have a diary of when repairs reported failed repairs complaints responses from complaints photos to prove my issues photos of call logs for waiting times to report etc. Shoddy toilet repairs damaging new flooring leaving me with wet flooring. You have no idea what effect all this has on my mental health which I suffer with and the effects this has on my child keep going through the rubbish process. Keep reporting things and waiting finding other issues along the way. My anxiety is through the roof with everything. I am writing this through tears and frustration. I have had enough of sitting on hold to report for 3 hours and reporting defects with this property that I am supposed to feel safe and call home. My daughter has slept in my room due to the constant dripping. No doubt the lagging soaking. I did report that I had an animal in my roof which I was told to contact Bedford borough pest control which they asked me to contact my housing I still await a response from that but now have a yellow stain coming through the ceiling which I decorated already using stain blocker to now a constant drip. No support or help just pushed from pillar to post in a waiting game of chasing my tail while working and raising a child and keeping my mental health in a safe zone is impossible with bpha. I said previously about contacting my local mp along with Anglia news and I didn't follow through but my parents are advising me to seek legal advise because the duty of care to tenants we aren't cash cows we have rights.... Absolutely shocking. The communal door to the flats in Finsbury Chase has not been working since September. I have messaged them countless times. I have had the ' spare part ' line etc. Come on this is nearly 6 months ago. I bet the letters regarding the rent review ( sorry increase ) are not delayed. Health and safety issue here especially regarding recent tragic events in Lincolnshire... Read more

Can't move into our new home (for which we've already paid a month's rent in advance) because bpha have not put the property on the gas database. It's the middle of winter, there's no heating, no hot water, no electricity and no flooring. TSG can't service the boiler in the meantime and we cannot get a company to supply the house. BPHA have shunted the problem onto us despite it being the landlord's responsibility.... Read more

I have recently bought a shared ownership property and during the 3 months of dealing with bpha I have found the customer service to be outstanding. The sales rep was very honest and professional. He even stayed late on a Friday evening on two occasions to discuss at length with me matters relating to snagging and the completion of the sale. Bravo BPHA.... Read more

Expect poor response times to your enquiries. Firstly, on the phone they ask for courtesy and respect towards their staff members. Well this is a two way street. I don't view having to wait on hold for over an hour (when transferred) to be courteous and respectful to your customers. Evidently, the bosses at BPHA do not resource the business adequately & it isn't surprising people want to walk away from there.... Read more
