If anyone is thinking of buying or selling a house through Legra Homes, PLEASE DON’T!
The owner is a nasty rude man who is patently not interested in happy clients. His response to my 3rd call to him was “I thought I was picking up to someone important” I AM important as should all his clients be considered. How can you buy if he is not willing to hand over any information? To make matters worse he insists that vendors are not wanting direct contact and so any queries must go through him. How does this work if he refuses to take calls or respond to emails!? We had an issue with the purchase and another estate agent further up the chain had to help as he wasn’t interested.
The worst thing about this Estate agent is that he insists on taking a hefty deposit, which is completely against the Property Ombudsman’s advice and then refuses to return it on completion. It is now 4 weeks, and I am having to issue a writ!

Had to amend the review I requested on the 16/09/20, so here is the new one below. 17/9/20.
I am giving Legra homes a one star review for the following reasons:
In regards to my holding fee deposit that took a month for me to receive back. The first cheque never arrived via the post therefore we had to collect a second cheque. The second cheque was then bounced. I then had to demand a BACs payment on the Friday but had to wait till the Monday. I had to continue to chase and demand for updates.
Buying my first property was meant to be an exciting experience for myself, however, Jack made this absolute hell for me.
I was continuously pushed to hurry up. But I would like to point out that this was a whole new experience for myself and I wanted and did everything by the books. I would also like to add that I was waiting on answers from the vendors solicitors with my questions before I proceeded onto the next step. Due to the global pandemic there was delays in receiving those answers.
Overall. I do not recommend this company at all and would urge for buyers to look elsewhere!!

Initially we were sceptical as we had always used the same agent, however, we were following Legra on Facebook and loved their content. We decided to give Jack a go and we were not disappointed. Highly recommended.

After 6 months of trying to sell with a High Street estate agent I engaged Legra Homes. Viewings increased dramatically and feedback never had to be requested. With their proactive and professional approach to selling it wasn't long before I had a buyer. Throughout the process Jack kept us fully informed by contacting solicitors and estate agents engaged in the chain and despite many challenges, it was comforting to know we had someone working so hard on our behalf. I could not recommend Legra Homes high enough, the service they provided was exceptional as it was professional.
