From day one, whenever I had any issues or questions, Adam always replied on the exact same day and sorted everything out incredibly fast. Even during the stressful move-out process, he went above and beyond to guide me through and processed my deposit return seamlessly. While the agency itself is great, Adam is hands down the absolute best and the main reason I had such a smooth experience. If you are looking for an agent who is professional, reliable, and genuinely cares about his clients, Adam is the one, trust me.
10th Jun 2026 (7 weeks ago)Our experience with HomeLink has been extremely negative.<br><br>We returned the keys on 14 May 2026 and recorded a video at the time of handover as evidence. Despite this, we were later told that the keys had only been returned on 2 June 2026. We have evidence showing otherwise.<br><br>When we rented the property, we were informed by Zach that there were no damp or mould issues. However, during our tenancy we experienced significant damp, mould and moisture problems throughout the property, particularly during the winter months. My wife and child developed asthma-related health problems, and we have supporting medical evidence.<br><br>We moved out on 30 April 2026 and were preparing to move into another property. During this process, HomeLink provided a negative reference, stating that rent payments had been late. We had already informed them in writing that my salary payment date had changed and requested that the payment date be adjusted accordingly. Despite this, the issue was not resolved.<br><br>HomeLink has withheld our £2,015 deposit and has attempted to charge rent for a period when we were no longer living in the property. We have written communications showing that we informed the agency in advance about leaving the property.<br><br>We feel that we were treated unfairly throughout this process. We have retained emails, messages, video recordings and other evidence and have started legal proceedings regarding these matters.<br><br>Potential tenants should carefully document all communications and thoroughly inspect any property for damp and mould issues before signing a tenancy agreement.

Sterling went above and beyond for us to close a sale on our last property in a tough market. Throughout the process Sterling was pro-active in keeping us updated, even communicating directly with our conveyancer to speed things along, and we felt he really fought our corner during those last couple of weeks of buyer inquiries when the sale could either go through or fall through.<br>I would highly recommend Stirling the rest of the team at James Hayward including Dee, Julian and Lisa.

I was guided from start to finish by the helpful team, who were all friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The advice and guidance given helped navigate through what are tricky times on the housing market: the guidance on how best to market my house proved effective and I quickly had a good offer. With ongoing help from the Chas Lowe team, I felt confident and supported. The sale is now completed with no 'hiccups' and I am really glad I used their services.

James French and Tim Buckley were so helpful and always available to speak on the phone. Compared to other estate agents who pass you from pillar to post, James and Tim were amazing. 8th Jul 2026 (19 days ago)Right from the first meeting Kimberley and her team were open, honest and transparent in all our dealings. In a difficult market we were having 2-3 viewings a week- all of which were undertaken by Beresfords staff. They answered emails promptly and were very welcoming when we popped into the branch for updates. This is the first time we have used an estate agent in 40 years and the experience has been good and when 'challenges' have come along the team have been very helpful and kept us in the loop.
