20th Jul 2026 (4 weeks ago)Most honest valuation.<br><br>I was looking to sell my flat and I spoke to 4 Estate Agents about this. 2 of the 4 missed the appointment without warning and had to reschedule. 3 of the 4 called up and basically just told me what other properties were advertised for on Rightmove (something I can already do).<br><br>The exception to both of these issues was Galloways:<br>1. My tenant greeted the Agent and called me after to say they were professional and very impressed with them. If they gave that impression to the tenant I am sure they would in a sale.<br>2. They gave me a valuation based on an actual recent sale of a property they had recently facilitated which meant, unlike the others, I had confidence in the number as a piece of professional insight rather than something I could Google.<br>3. They sent all this across in nice professional calls and emails.<br><br>In short, while I couldn't go further with their services, they have positioned themselves at the front of my mind with this excellent first step. At least look for a valuation with them. Thanks.

And despite of dealing with complicated circumstances like changing Tenancy laws etc he helped us see the process through to a successful outcome. All along very pro active and professional handling of all elements of the transaction. I will highly recommend Stuart and Domus Nova to anyone looking for the highest standards of execution. 26th Jun 2026 (8 weeks ago)I had a very disappointing experience with a property marketed by John D Wood & Co. Estate Agents (Wandsworth).<br><br>Initially, Poppy Martin was very helpful and responsive throughout the viewing and application process, which gave us confidence in proceeding. However, after our offer was accepted, we were informed that all payments and tenancy arrangements would be handled directly by the landlord rather than the agency. This was never made clear at the outset.<br><br>We had already submitted our personal and financial information to the agent, including payslips, bank statements, passports, proof of address, P60s, and our guarantor’s personal and financial details. Despite this, the landlord requested the same documents again, followed by further demands for over a year’s worth of our guarantor’s financial records, including payslips, bank statements, and P60s.<br><br>We also discovered that deposits were to be paid to a business account managed by a third-party company, which had not been disclosed by the agent. When we requested evidence of their data protection compliance, we were initially provided with an expired certificate and generic documents, which further undermined our confidence.<br><br>At this stage, we no longer felt comfortable sharing additional financial information. As a result, our £311 holding deposit was retained. We felt pressured into providing excessive personal data under the threat of losing our deposit.<br><br>Overall, the process lacked transparency, involved repeated requests for financial and personal information, and left us feeling misled. This was a stressful and disappointing experience, and I hope future applicants are given clearer information before committing to the process.

We rented our first home together through Martin and Co, and had a wonderful experience with the whole team - notably Annabel and James.<br><br>Renting for the first time can be nerve wracking, and we’d heard all the horror stories about unresponsive managing agents and other issues, but you’ll get none of that with Martin and Co. We stayed in the same property for three years, and this was largely due to the peace of mind we had from our interactions with the team.<br><br>Always quick to respond to any queries we have, and incredibly helpful through any rare teething issues with the flat. The team really care about their tenants and the properties they manage and it shows.

The sales team really put the effort in to get to know the property so that they could market it efficiently and find the right buyers, which they very quickly managed. Martine in Sales Progression then stepped in to skilfully steer the process through to completion.<br>Very refreshing to work with such a cohesive and proactive team, it really made the whole process very easy both for myself as seller but also for the buyers.

They helped us from<br>Start to finish, from negotiating, communicating with the seller and when the inevitable hurdles came (not from MV!) they helped us patiently, and made what could have been a bumpy process feel very smooth keeping both us and the seller of the property reassured and happy.
