12th Aug 2026 (28 days ago)Unfortunately, my experience with Hamptons was extremely disappointing. I appointed them three times over the past four years — twice to sell my property and once to let it — and on all three occasions they failed to find a suitable buyer or tenant.<br><br>When I appointed them to let my property, one of their staff members attended a viewing with a prospective tenant. The gentleman did not appear to be working and was asking for a discount on the rent. After locking up the flat, I noticed the prospective tenant and the Hamptons staff member whispering in the hallway and then becoming silent as I approached. I found the situation quite unsettling and it gave me very little confidence about renting my property to this individual.<br><br>More recently, I instructed Hamptons to sell the property again before ultimately deciding to move to another agent. I was disappointed that their junior staff carried out viewings without informing me of the prospective buyer's name beforehand. On one occasion, I discovered through my own investigation that a woman who had already viewed my property twice through Savills was now attempting to view it for a second time through Hamptons. She had not disclosed to Hamptons that she had already viewed the property, and she was not in a position to purchase as her own property was not even on the market. She subsequently visited the property several times, which I felt was an unnecessary waste of everyone's time. Providing me with the prospective buyer's name in advance could potentially have avoided this situation.<br><br>Hamptons eventually found a buyer, but the offer was below the amount I had originally paid for the property. I felt that this was another waste of time, particularly as I was encouraged to consider accepting the offer. Fortunately, I declined.<br><br>The final communication from the director was particularly disappointing. I was told that Hamptons were the only people who could sell my flat and that I was making a mistake by leaving them. This was after three months of marketing, during which there had been very few viewings and no credible offers.<br><br>Needless to say, I decided to change agents. Within just one week of going back onto the market with another estate agent, I received a strong offer — and ultimately achieved the best possible price, reflecting what my property was genuinely worth.<br><br>This experience has made me very sceptical of high-street estate agents. My advice would be to do your research carefully and choose an agent who is transparent, realistic, communicative and genuinely focused on achieving the right result for you.

They were clear with what our house needed prior to going onto the market and incredibly thorough with finding the right buyers and flexible around our family when it came to viewings. Highly recommend them for your next sale or purchase.

The result was a very speedy listing to completion.<br>For anyone thinking of selling my advice would always be to use a top class estate agent AND an excellent solicitor! It's always worth it.<br>KFH are highly recommended.

2nd Sep 2026 (7 days ago)I just completed the process of moving flats with Hunters and I'm really pleased with how they dealt with it and supported us throughout. Sam and Gokhan were very helpful initially with viewings and offer-related questions, and then Amber took us through the referencing, income checks and contract completion seamlessly. Amber was great at solving minor hiccups we had with referencing and extremely quick at responding to and acting on our concerns. Everyone at Hunters is lovely and a pleasure to interact with, especially during what is a really stressful process!

We first talked to Peter to find a letting solution. Peter, Victoria, and their team found suitable tenants quickly while keeping us well informed. Anna and Ella handled the practical side. Anna devoted lots of time to contracts, agreements, and preparation work. Ella also assisted a lot with scheduling and went beyond her role by supervising the disposal of old furniture to ensure a smooth move-in—which we truly appreciated ! Mae and Gioia were also very responsive and helpful.As overseas landlords, having an experienced, reliable team is vital to us. We're very grateful for their hard work and would happily recommend Hamptons.

They are professional, efficient, and always very quick to help find a suitable property.<br><br>When I decided to move this time, I chose to use them again, and everything went very smoothly. They helped me find the ideal home and made the whole moving process easy and stress-free.<br><br>A special thank you to Paria Shamil , who has been absolutely wonderful. After I moved in, I noticed that a few things in the property were damaged . As soon as I let her know, she responded immediately and arranged for the issues to be resolved very quickly. She is extremely helpful, responsive, and professional.<br><br>Ashlee has also been fantastic and very helpful throughout the process<br><br>After 8 years of using this agency, I am still very happy with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to rent a property. All staffs are very nice .

We were looked after by the fabulous Darcie Stein, she went above and beyond to make sure everything went well and was always on the phone with updates and kept us informed every step of the way. From listing our house to completion it all went so smoothly, if you want to sell your house get in contact with Darcie she was our lucky charm!!

They kept me informed throughout, made sure things were progressing until it was clear that the original buyer was found to be untrustworthy and had changed his mind! They then found another keen buyer who had been kept on the back burner, from several months beforehand, which ensured a swift and seamless completion.
