15th Jul 2026 (11 days ago)A worker helped us find a place after our first option got taken. He was kind and considerate and accommodating. We’re new home movers so we were very unknowing of this process and he made it easier for us. The agency were very professional and gave us every piece of information we needed. We also met Linus during the move in date who was also very accommodating and sweet. We really recommend this agency to any new movers. They make the whole process extremely easy.<br><br>Update:<br>Unfortunately I had a bad experience with one of the workers at Barnard Marcus. A colleague was getting too close, being touchy and sending flirting texts. He’s also significantly older which is even weirder. I mentioned this to Adem at Barnard Marcus and they said they would following it up. Since February I haven’t heard anything back. The case was passed on to someone and I’ve heard nothing from her. It seems they don’t really care, which is disappointing since we really liked Barnard Marcus and the team we were given. I shouldn’t have to follow up on a case like this, as it was even hard for me to tell anyone, and they should have taken steps to make me feel safe or heard.

7th Jul 2026 (19 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience when contacting this agency to arrange a viewing.<br><br>At first, I explained that the property would be for me and my baby. The member of staff placed me on hold, and after waiting, the call ended. I called back and the same thing happened again. This occurred around three times, which I found very frustrating and unprofessional.<br><br>When I eventually explained that the property would be for myself, my partner, and our baby, I was told that the property would be too small for the three of us. I felt that I was given repeated excuses rather than a clear and helpful explanation.<br><br>I understand that not every property will be suitable for every applicant, but I believe customers should still be treated with respect, listened to, and given professional communication. Unfortunately, my experience with this agency did not feel professional or welcoming.

21st Jul 2026 (5 days ago)We purchased a property through KFH West Dulwich. Many months after our offer was accepted, we finally completed and moved in, to our surprise on that day the house didn’t resemble much the property we had agreed to buy.<br><br>Both front and back gardens had been completely neglected to the point where you can’t basically walk around, the carpets were in an appalling and unusable state. The house was so dirty that every surface was covered in dust and mouse droppings, there were spider webs throughout the property, and it was clear that no effort had been made to leave the home in a reasonable state for its new owners.<br><br>When we raised our concerns, the estate agent responded that their role was basically to hand over the keys. While we understand that the condition of the property is ultimately the seller’s responsibility, we would have expected the agency to provide at least some guidance to them about leaving a property in a presentable condition for completion, especially since we were patient enough to wait much longer than the original estimate date.<br><br>What should have been an exciting day turned into a disappointment within the first ten minutes of walking through the door. The lack of care from the sellers, left a very an awful impression, when you pay over a £1m for a house, one would expect some decency from the agents and the sellers to leave the place in a nice state.

25th Jul 2026 (1 day ago)The current housing market is in a tricky situation with the on-going Middle-East war and with uncertain economic future, resulting in becoming a Buyers' housing market. Under the circumstance it was difficult to value or to determining reasonable or realistic Asking price. After some trial and error, the correct asking price, though below the current market price, was established. Having bought the house some twenty-five years earlier, it wasn't all that difficult for the reduction of asking price. Throughout the process, Winkworth communication and advising efforts were efficiently performed. Perhaps, the Selling Estate Agents are also in the re-learning process of the current market situation. It is likely that any sellers who have bought recently, say within five-six years earlier would have difficulties in recovering the original cost price!

19th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience.<br><br>I paid a holding deposit, completed the referencing and background checks, and was sent a draft tenancy agreement to sign. I was also contacted and informed that everything was fine and that the final contract would be sent shortly.<br><br>Based on these assurances, I gave notice to my current landlord to vacate my existing property.<br><br>After waiting for around two weeks, I unexpectedly received an email indicating that the property was still available. It appeared that the property continued to be marketed despite my holding deposit having been paid, the referencing process having been completed, and a draft contract having already been signed.<br><br>What was most concerning was the lack of communication. At no point was I proactively informed that there was an issue or that the tenancy might not proceed. Had I not received that email and followed up myself, I could have been left without confirmed accommodation after already serving notice on my current home.<br><br>This situation caused significant stress and uncertainty and could have had serious consequences. I would strongly advise future tenants not to give notice on their current property until they have a fully executed tenancy agreement and written confirmation that everything is finalised.
